I never watched the streams for this developer, didn't realize it was all the same dev or even different games because they all seemed the same. I like watching horror game streams but always found streams with FNAF or Alien Isolation more entertaining.
They have wildy different premise or story, its just that the gameplay will always be the same 'walk around, solve X and Y, get jumpscared' that has rarely, if ever changing throughout all of Chillas games. There might be some new things here and there, but nothing's really groundbreaking.
The only saving grace is the story, but to most its arguably always the same thing. It would either be genuine supernatural horror or the entire horror is red-herring and the horror aspect is the mundane 'danger' like say, evil shit humans can do. Combined with the same-y gameplay, it's not a surprise that the game is getting detractors these days.
