Graduation queue seems to have dried up after Vivi/Mogu, the remaining streamers seem to feel either okay or tolerable within the company, they've even successfully memoryholed the Aster drama, more or less.
Basically, unless they fuck up unprompted, it seems like NijiEN's foreseeable future is just gonna be business as usual. Which the dramafags can't handle.

I hope history repeats itself and when someone says there is no drama anymore it turns out Vox was being whored out to a Triad Boss' daughter and that Aster was actually sex pested by every woman in the company at the same time or some shit

This doesn't mean they've been in contact with Hina, it just means that Valentine's Day and her birthday on 22 February has forced their hand. They've left Hina the option of returning to stream or deciding to graduate, which I think is the best option in this situation. Hopefully Hina sees that Phase is still supporting her as best they can.

Just a reminder as to why she likely went on hiatus: Before disappearing for good she had been talking about how her father had fallen deathly ill and been put into hospice. She had said previously that if her father died she'd be taking a long break, and now it seems that break has come to fruition - the only question is, did it happen right when she stopped streaming, or did it happen just recently? Did management finally get in contact with her willingly after having fallen off the grid for a long time, or did she reach out to them? Or (most pessimistically) did management just spit this out now in order to appease the few people whining about them selling Hina merch while she's been absent for 3 months? Regardless, it seems likely the main reason she's disappeared is that her father has passed away and I can imagine her coping with that is going to take a long time.

I was thinking about this too, but even the lowest of their low ccvs have been pulling 'larger' numbers, like Dizzy doing a phase weekly used to sit between 100 to barely 200, and now she'll nominally nab upwards of 1k ccv. To say nothing of lowest sub'd streamer Uruka who is on her way to 130k. I guess Kevin was half-right that there's room for growth (besides Ember's waistline) but I can't be sure what the extent of that is.
