I can believe this completely. I always go back to her appearance at Vexpo that I watched, and how she clung to that utter personality vacuum Domo. It felt so agonizingly scripted and performative. You could hear every rehearsed joke and feel every awkward timed pause for laughter and applause. It felt exactly like a Hollywood event, just in digital form. I don't hate ChromiumVole or even think she's a bad person, but she is a media personality in the truest, most brutalist essence of the word. Nothing she does 'for vtubing' will have any positive results for the medium.

I like to think shes at least trying but is too retarded to understand how to uplift others she thinks business acquaintances are friends her IRL isolation might be playing a part but that excuse can only go so far

My other head cannon is that shes dying so she would rather just do what she enjoys rather then put in effort.
