That's just playing with semantics, though. To a business like uwumarket, the angry mob and bad press are enough of a consequence on their own to make dropping her worthwhile. This just feels like a policy of punishing everyone surrounding Gumpai out of petty vindictiveness masquerading as justice. You punish Gumpai, sure, but she's been punished already and she either knows she's in the wrong, or isn't going to learn her lesson. You also punish Gumpai's fans, who can't get merch of their oshi, and they didn't do anything wrong here. Uwumarket loses money having to deal with this bullshit and cancelling their merch plans for her, and they didn't do anything wrong either. Seems very disproportionate to punish everyone surrounding Gumpai for the crime of... being a bitch to someone selling bootleg merch.
