Graduating because of Donald Trump would be one of reasons of all time.

I don't think its related to the elections lol. Probably just a bunch of issues with management. I don't watch most stars but i see often tweets about projects being denied for reasons. Probably just a burnout from it all.

I heard he has issue with getting a new outfit (he is the only one in Tempus who is still stuck with his default) but I'm not sure if there's more.

He has seasonal depression so he takes breaks time to time. But his projects lately have been cancelled or haven't worked out well.
1. His homemade 3d studio is impressive but also costly to maintain.
2. Had an outfit in production but admitted it was kind of his own fault for being indecisive on his feedback.
3. Cancelled covers. He had one in the works with Kobo on a duet Vocaloid song but had perms issues.

Which corpo has the best merch quality/price/shipping times?

the in stock stuff in the Hololive shop was good in my experience
I cant compare to other corpos because I only ever bought stuff from Cover, but I orderd some FriendsWithU Plushies just erecntly, alsong some smol myth figurines. Despite using a proxy service, from buying to getting the delivery it only took 2,5 weeks

The custom stuff like birthday merch takes much longer to deliver tho

I have also ordered acrylic stands, key chains and CDs from the shop and never had any issues with those quality wise.
Cant say anything about clothes merch, generally that stuff is too expensive for me. Also, from luring the discords I know that the sizes Cover offers for Hoodies or shirts a gigantic for women. This is made with fat amerimutts in mind.

Shipping is pricy + fees from the proxy service, but (maybe this is cope) Cover doesn't have much control over the shipping prices of stuff, the post companies decide and Cover has to play their game.
For the price of the merch items themselves, I think most of it is fair, especially the smaller stuff like Acrylics and keychains are generally well-made and in the range of 500 - 1500 Yen. Plushes or CDs are (for the quality) fair. Not a bargain, but the stuff plushies do look just as advertised and are quite soft. It's to be expected to pay extra just for the Hololive branding compared to a generic plush, but anyone who buys merch should be ready to pay that and not expect any actually great bang-for.your-buck value.
Clothes get quite expensive, and are easily what I would pay here for major brand sports stuff. That much money just for a piece of clothes I can get unbranded and generic for significantly cheaper isnt something I am willing to pay as a jobless student.

Overall, I see many many more people complain about shitty shipping and Geekjack especially but not many complaints about the actual quality of the stuff.

There's also some sort of issue with VR gear from Rokoko that Cover was supposed to handle after Altare sent it to them for troubleshooting back in July. After no news he asks for it back this month to look at it himself, and not only did he fix the issue in an hour, but the equipment had dust on it prior to him working on it, indicating that the equipment HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED by Cover while it was in their custody. This was laid out in his Black Ops 6 stream last night so I will grab the timestamp when I can.
