Stop in and wish my oshi a happy birthday, I am NOT asking.
I can't believe Mozu provided all the milk for her cake herself.

The defective merch buff only works if the defects are rarities, if none of them came out as intended then it's just worthless Chinese tat.Phasekeks are so whiny, they don't understand the value of defective merch which will be seen as rare collectibles worth thousands in the future. I remember when Korone's doll was recalled and labeled as defective some people starting hoarding the things because they were "special versions"
I really think Phase are reaching beyond their means handling the merch in-house, since their merch output is kind of a shitshow all around. This is like the third time we've had problems with defects (the Airi mug prints, the plushies, and now this), needing a pre-order period so they can have the exact quantity manufactured at a more reasonable cost rather than manufacturing per order slows everything down tremendously, and the Canadian legal bullshit around international shipping makes it obnoxiously expensive too so people are less likely to impulse-buy stuff when it's announced.I see. By his reaction I assumed it was something they commissioned to some sweatshop like a decade ago and they handled distribution too but turns out it was recently. My nigga fishman might be a chink but so far he seems to give a shit about quality control, if he keeps blindly trusting these chink sweatshops he's gonna lose money and clients very fast. I'd feel fucking scammed if they try to sell me a scarf and they give me fucking plastic sheet.

How's Brave Group with merch, anyway?Phase has an obvious solution, a company could always come in and give them some help with the merch. A good old fashioned assist
It sounds like a concept pitch for a Lucky Star episode. Two flat-chested girls arguing about boob envy feels like the most mid and uninspired anime you've ever seen and I'm here for it.

1-4 months delivery, but they're quick on the call back if it sucks. How's Brave Group with merch, anyway?
this is what really drives me up the wall. You should be doing this when you're starting out because you have no data. They've been around for what 4 years? and they still do this shit instead of looking at the numbers and produce a batch that can satisfy the usual demand and account for extra sales. They do the con circuit so any leftovers can be sold at cons or you can even sell mystery boxes of leftovers. People are willing to buy just get better at putting it in the hands of people.needing a pre-order period so they can have the exact quantity manufactured at a more reasonable cost rather
I think his plan has always been having merch rotating all year and he finally has enough girls and events to get the loop going but he has to scale his operation if he wants to sustain it. If he's making enough profit he should be investing in setting up his own distribution chain outside of canada because the problems keep piling up and like you said people are gonna get fed up with having to wait 6 months at best to get their shit.I can appreciate why Fishfag wants to handle it himself, it gives them more flexibility in what they can offer, they don't have a distribution company eating into their revenue, and he gets to spend all day in the warehouse hiding from his wife.
How about a Big Ben?I don't feel the clock sticker is enough for this post.
