Short recap of Miori Celesta's mentions on TVA​

From the start of my Recap #1 texts, things look ok up to a certain point. She wins couple of contests, collabs with big names, opens a merch store. Tsunderia dies somewhere in the middle of it all.

Then, in the Summer of 2023, we have a meltdown:

Saw this on Miori Celestia alt account, does anyone know what happened? tried checking her Vods but her last stream on YouTube was 9 days ago so I doubt that was it

Context:

On Miori's last stream, she talked about catching her regulars in other streamer's chats and them "cheating" on her. She said that some have even outright told her they're watching other streamers while she's not streaming, and that hurt her.
Today she gets a sponsorship from Idol for the IdolEN2 Watchalong. Which can be seen as encouraging her viewers to watch other girls and thus "cheat" on her.
It is implied she received some Marshmallows/Curious Cat messages about this being hypocritical. Which has made her have a menhera/woman moment.

Later she drops out of school, and it is not her choice. Her medical condition worsens, school staff is avoiding her, plus we learn she really underestimates her own worth and did professional corpo projects for minimum payment.

Slight update on this: Confirmed dropped out. But it (sort of) wasn't her choice? Her professor ghosted her and her counselor avoided her as much as possible until it was too late to register for classes anymore. She had terrible grades so there's a good chance the school did this on purpose. But with her deteriorating health she isn't upset about it.

Another important bit of info that came up: She only charges $10 (per hour?) for mixing. Because she doesn't believe she's good enough to charge more. That's right, she did professional level work for Nijisanji, Idol, and Pixellink for almost nothing.

She's on right now trying to beat Breath of the Wild in one sitting:

November 2023 (we are on the Recap #2 here), she was kicked out of her house by her drunk father (gambling unemployed POS)

Indie vtuber Miori Celesta has been kicked out of her house (but has a place to stay). It seem her father drank her alcohol and tossed her and the dog out. Mom "dipped from the stress".

Later we learn that mom filed for a divorce. Things continue to go poorly, in January she tweets about craving "the sweet release of death". People discuss her situation for some time, Porean's post is the last on this cluster of the Recap:

Do you really believe she would go corpo again? I just see her hints as a (failing) way to try and tame her fanbase more than a real threat/promise. As you said she knows who she's catered to, and this is all of her own making, she thrives on the attention, and she is equally controlling towards her fans as they are to her, with Miori having a no-joke unironic Beerpal spreadsheet listing all "infractions" and "cheating" they have done.

And let's face it she is too ill in the head to change at this point, her disappointing her parents by dropping out of Uni, her Dad's increasingly unhinged behaviour, the complete inability of she and her mother to get a place of their own, Miori's constant overwork (look in the descriptions of other Chuubas covers, you find Miori there), over work doing music production for less than minimum wage, IF she she even accepts payment at all, Impostor syndrome from thinking she's a leech every-time she collabs with Bae, the list goes on.

She gets treated in a creepy way to get info about other vtubers, gets fucked over by clients, have to deal with persistent antis who doxx her and spam her alleged photo with some guy. At this point many Miori Celesta / slime erotica Recap posts contain words like "having another moment", "vent" etc. She performs on stage, collabs with big names and does work for corpos, while being heavily dependant on her community.

August of 2024, big good news, she have successfully undergone sciatica surgery

She visits Bae again, gets a new model, starts a therapy after one of her friends commits suicide. She still has an occasional moment here and there. Depression and anxiety treatment, talks about weight loss due to mental and chronic physical pain. WE ARE HERE.

I still laugh at her menhera moments regarding her community and them "cheating" on her, but I genuinely hope things get better for her because she really has had a lot of horrible shit happen to her in her personal life. And because of that, I can even understand her being this clingy to her community to an extent. She just really needs to learn how to channel it in a better way than she has been.

I'm still going to laugh at her over-the-top moments that usually involve her flipping her shit about members of her community watching other vtubers or being in actual real-life relationships, but I do wish her the best in hopefully getting some help for her brainworms and maybe someday realizing her self-worth. Very optimistic, I know, but I do feel bad for her even if I make fun of her sometimes. I always much rather see a person get better and do well for themselves than them continuing to do and say dumb shit for me to laugh at.

The interview was fun. No earthshaking spoilers or reveals, but it was interesting to get a small idea of what's happening behind the curtain (for example, Valentine's Day being the biggest event of the year and they're currently in the middle of sorting out art commissions for it in November). I also liked Aiko, she was shy and unused to being in front of the proverbial camera, while at the same time coming across as pretty competent. It made for a rather unusual but fun streaming personality, at least to me. Wouldn't mind more content like this and I hope Aiko makes more appearances in the future.
