I'm in the market for an alternative server host. Please see here for details.
💰💰💰Gentlemen, it is bill-paying day. That means I am doing a Bernie Sanders and asking for your financial support. Reminder that you can shill your oshi here, in THIS VERY SPOT, in a way that will DEFINITELY get them positive attention and DEFINITELY meet with her approval!💰💰💰
You poor fool, your eyes are open but you still can't see. Let me show you the truth:
A vote for Kamala is a vote for Hyperborea. Reject the cackling Indian witch or face your doom! Vote Tomoe Umari today!
I've been thinking for a while. I kind of want to do a monthly TVA Newsletter of some sort. It's just a shower thought at the moment, but I think that it's time the forum established a better and more consistent, community-focused method of tracking events and general goings-on in the industry, in a way that very quickly allows people to navigate to events they find relevant to their personal interests, while simultaneously not hiding events they wouldn't normally be interested in so the community doesn't end up partitioned.
you mean inbox's posts? Pick a lane proctor focus on it finish it then do something else. a bunch of half finished half assed projects will just annoy people
Good: having a concise news source. News is this website's best feature, it would be nice to have it in an easy to parse way.
Bad: having the monkeys that frequent this place in charge of collating it. Pick a handful of people, ideally ones you trust to be curt, and have them do it. Otherwise it'll just be the same shitwrought commentary and toxic benevolence we already have to wade through for news.
If I weren't so averse to doing something that feels like work I'd say I'd be an ideal member for this because I unilaterally do not really give a shit about pushing any particular angle or agenda unless I'm rrating. I did do some journalism courses in uni back in the day but decided being a newscuck journo scum would be a waste of time.
Inbox's posts are great work and I'm very grateful to him for them, but he is just one person, and relying on a single dedicated individual is not ideal when it comes to the long-term prospects of information retrieval here. Having a more flexible group that can take it in turns or all contribute a bit at a time would take the pressure off people like him and probably encourage others to offer help as well.

I assumed it went without needing to be stated that I would need to initiate it, and pick volunteers who are capable enough of handling things without my direct, constant oversight. I apologize if that wasn't clear.
Listen if Holos can get away with streaming poorly censored eroge that are tangentially related to the company, Dizzy should be able to play some Fate or Taimanin. Just saying.
To be fair, isn't Inbox quitting his summary posts? More aggressive use of the threadmark system might cover for it. Maybe an official happenings thread with links to all the dedicated threads/threadmarks people can go through?
To continue the nitpicking, while Mintara is cute, Matara has made some pretty straightforward clarifications that she's into men.

Yeah a dedicated thread with Three people who can post news would be ideal then. (one is too little two results in endless bickering over what is news worthy 3 can break ties and split the work well.)
Edit: and i mean explicitly in inbox's style we don't need another thread devolving into opinions and dickfights over which whore is oshi worthy.
Our use of force laws are pretty decent. Unfortunately, they're not like Texas'. Then again, no one's like Texas. All use of force laws in the country should be hyper-Texas.
This is why so many Californians are moving to Texas, Idaho, and Arizona. It isn't just about flipping the state politically, it's because those states have their own little Californian diaspora setup like Austin, Boise, and Phoenix. And yes, they are moving to Phoenix because it was cheaper and it's pissing off locals because the tradeoff for the heat was the low prices but so many Californians moving there is fucking that up.
You would go insane doing nothing for 2 years. I recall Mea (the one who is collabing with Roberu all the time) explaining that the reason she has a part time job in the local shop is to have human interactions and something to talk to with her friends. And that sitting alone in her room playing games all day made her even more menhera than usual. It had nothing to do with needing more money or anything
Being forced out of work and basically stuck in a room since a double whammy medical issue hit me in mid-late 2020 has definitely not been kind to my mental health, so I can relate.
