I wouldn't really say she was acting menhera but she was quite upset (and wholly justified in being so). The assholes at Youtube really have been treating her unfairly. In addition to what Negzana said, she was left on read after reaching out to others for a fashion collab stream and she lost a family member this year. She said for a time she was reclusive from the other girls at Phase.

Not necessarily. A lot of jurisdictions have statutory damages for copyright infringement, in which case just showing that they copied without permission would be enough.

When Fauna leaves I don't think there will really be any older HoloEN members I actively watch. Mumei barely streams so might as well not mention her. I loved Myth and Council back during the boom and it's sad to see the passage of time not be kind to them. At least Advent and Justice have been going strong and seem to have more unity, hopefully the burnout never happens.

His Tenma collab from a few months ago was nice. His content and ramblings haven't changed much but he took a huge hit when it comes to people to collab with. I feel like a big part of his appeal when he was in Holostars was all the cool people he had access to collab with. Hell, most of the people that have left suffer from this. Maybe if enough people leave and they start collabing on their indie accounts I will be like if nothing ever happened.

Either way though, posting to official art tags and having no disclaimers is a dick move since talents could get in trouble (legal trouble, not to mention twitter seethe) for not knowing and using it for thumbnails.

He should probably disclose its Ai. As for "legal trouble" as long as Cover isn't using the art to sell as merch there should be much problem. So thumbnails and shit like schedules should be fine. Only issue i could see from it is people on Twitter sperging about "REEEEE AI ART. HOLOLIVE HAS INFINITE MONEY AND THEY CANT EVEN AFFORD TO PAY ARTISTS."

Have I just become boomer brained when it comes to identifying AI images or do you really need to have a knack for seeing AI in anime pictures? The finger thing was the only one I could see because AI always sucks when it comes to creating hands and fingers.

There is still a style to the Ai art that makes it easy to tell. The colors are now the best way to tell. Especially light and shadows that don't make much sense or certain inconsistency with some colors being way too saturated versus others. Hands have gotten way better. You would have to basically fix a whole hand before, now maybe 1 finger might be off.

She seems to not like the image she made for herself (I assume she means degenerate tumblr zoomer with questionable world knowledge?) but is trapped between either continuing it and further getting punished by youtube strikes, or not doing it and her numbers crashing and fans growing disinterested.

She has had many projects frozen or cancelled due to a mix of management being too slow to communicate or her worrying it won't be good enough and just freezing it

She was also demoralized by the rapid succession of small corpo closures this year, which she felt helped Phase in its first years stay lean and efficient due to actual competition. Now they're all gone, and Phase is doing good but now they're peerless in the industry and have nobody to really keep them on their toes. She is also just sad to see all these corpos and people she grew to see part of the vtubing ecosystem just die so rapidly.

Did she finally move to Japan or when is that happening? Thought it was next year although that might be part of whats giving her stress and causing her to menhera more than usual.

I think Lia has a good thing with her zoomer tumblr humor shit. There are a ton of Vtubers that love that shit yet they haven't gone into it mainly because the corpos probably wont let them. She just has to learn how to self censor a bit so that YT doesn't fuck her over. As for the corpo thing. Yeah makes sense. Idol was a huge motivation to get Sakana to spend money on ads and marketing which prior to that he had not really spent that much on. I had never really thought about the implications of Idol tanking and what negative effects that would have on Phase. Its possible that 2025 is the year that Phase starts to struggle with growing too big.

It could be male but im mostly leaning towards it being a bait and switch and this are just false images of male gods which will end up being genderswapped female model reveals. I feel like male vtubers have been somewhat tainted by all of the sex pests and wierdos. I doubt Mythos wants to hop on that shit although I could be wrong. Only time will tell.

I had never really thought about the implications of Idol tanking and what negative effects that would have on Phase. Brave still has infinite money and will have for a while, and while none of their properties alone are a competition to Phase, they actually have a benefit of all being part of the same entity.

What i feel relates more to "Phase struggling with growth" is the comment about management being slow to communicate, which i guess is why Sakana expanded the management roster substantially this year, it was like 4-5 new hires, if i'm not mistaken.

It's easy to forget at times how young some of these v-tubers were/are. I hope she can change her content into something she's more comfortable with; she shouldn't be shoehorned into doing the exact same bit into eternity. Part of the whole "Idol" business is watching the performers you follow grow and improve over time, after all.

Vesper/Randon is responsible for some of the most memorable male/female collabs in the sphere. The Kronii psychologist collab deserves to be in the "Timeless moments" thread as a V-tubing hall of fame contender, the Uno collab was fantastic, and the Tenma collab was hilarious and probably one of my top ten funniest streams for the entire year. I get that most people hate males on stream, and I completely understand why: but at the same time, it's a crying shame that we don't get more Randon collabs.

I say that having gotten a fresh look at things after a month of little to no checking in on it, the parasociality which acts as the root of vtubing makes people care way too fucking much about random entertainers and companies they have no real connection with.

Funny thing is that inputting even a single artist tag in the prompt (at least for NovelAI, haven't really played around too deeply with other stuff) is enough to make it not look like the generic AI slop, but 99% of ai slop posters don't even do that.
