Phase is a low-four-view corporation whose strengths lie in grabbing talent who haven't had their lucky break and being stable enough to keep said talent when offers of going independent or being pouched are on the table. Phase isn't a retirement home, so I can't imagine they would ever get a holotalent in their ranks outside hiring a former manager. Given her history, I think the only Niji on the table is Rosemi. My guess is that Fish is going to release 2 EN 3 views with a niche not exploited by the other girls and 1 JP 4 view to come on board to try and mine further into the Japanese market and get a new round of exposure for the jp girls to try and repeat the success of gen 3's ad campaign. That being said, who do you guys think phase is poaching?
About the only big indie I could see joining Phase is Mint, solely because it seemed fish and the girls made a good impression and Mint runs her life off of her lived experiences... but it won't happen.
What Phase needs is a mid-sized JP invader but I don't see it happening either. Who knows though, JP talents love joining corpos, it's harder to find an actual indie in this range than someone who's already signed to some no-name shell company.
So what we'll get are 100-500 viewer small corpo refugees, as expected.

I like how we all forgot that Lisa literally said she was never reached out to by fishman, no contract or no invader talk, when less than human phasebeggars in her chat kept coping and asking her why she didn’t join phase. Compare that to Sayu, who said it was just the contract they couldn’t see eye to eye with.
I wasn’t around when Kaleido was revealed bc of personal stuff, but wasn’t everyone speculating on the chinchilla? I don’t follow her but what’s those chances

Uh, is there a sizeable pool of indie JP 4-views that would consider joining a western corpo? I have zero idea, but on paper it sounds rather unrealistic.

She is just a groomer who wanted her own small group of kittens and yesgirls and she couldn't do it in Hololive, so she intentionally chose the company full of fans who would be very easy to bend to her will
Why does everyone in the industry seem to have 0 understanding of basic contract law?
Think about it financially. The yen is at historic lows, and the JP economy has been in the shitter for a while now. If Fishman is offering a low 4 view, a job, it would come with financial backing in a currency far more valuable than the yen with an audience that supperchats in USD. It's a 2-way street. As Fishman digs into their viewer base and gains more influence in the JP market, they dig into the Western market and gain fans who are more wealthy by nature of where they live, increasing their income dramatically if everything goes well. We can debate the success and the viability of such a plan, but it's clear Fishman has a strong negotiation position given the globe's financial situation.
Most people in the industry are young adults with very little actual work experience.
