Isn't gen3 almost or a year old? It sounds more like if they decide to stay around after contract renewal season. I'm gonna be real, gen 3 has been pretty lackluster. Runie is probably the standout and she's just the normie magnet which is fine if you want to attract these people.

I think for Phase did a great job in picking out people for Gen 3 that cohesively work together, the collabs between members are great, and they feel like belong to Phase Connect while also opening Phase up to potential new audiences and viewers, rather than offering more of the same stuff. Some of the girls aren't quite my thing but that's fine, I don't have to enjoy every vtuber in existence just because I like vtubers in general. We'll see if we lose any talents after the first year but I'm don't think that anyone besides Hina is leaving, and I even think Hina is likely to stay.

I imagine they could've edited her out like Yuri probably was in the From Our Hearts video if she was leaving.

I'm gonna be honest, the silence is telling me Hina's probably gone at this point, or is at least heavily considering leaving. I feel like if she were planning to come back we'd have had some kind of update after the stream in October, even just a vague "thank you for your patience, Hina will be back when she's ready" thing.

It could be that they're trying to negotiate something and they're withholding comment until they know what's happening. The anniversary's on the 18th so they're gonna have to figure something out by then, or it'll be really, really awkward.

Honesty, the biggest winners from phase 3 were the other gens. The advertising was so good that it boosted the entire company, and Pippa started to limit her content around that time, pushing some of her viewers to the other girls, giving the girls a boost to high-three-view to low-four-view status.

If the situation is what it looks to be based on all evidence we have, she had a string of horrid medical malpractice issues with her father and may have suddenly lost him. Pretending to be an elf online is going to be issue #285214 on her list of priorities. Dealing with similar shit I can tell you that you could have set the room on fire around me and it would not have been a top priority for my attention to even pour water on myself to not burn alive.
On top of that, if you are Fishman, and especially having seen the Selen situation play out, would you really want to be all "hey when are you going back to streaming? what is the plan here? should we make an announcement?" You don't delete her from art and you don't hassle her. We have said here a billion times that having no-shows just camp on their IP doesn't cost the corpos a dime, so while sure we might feel some urgency to have her back, the only winning move is to fuck off until she's ready to deal with what will be, to her, irrelevant petty bullshit.

Saya's stream was her wanting to update everyone about what's been going on for her. Said things have been rough for her in her personal life lately. Didn't want to go into too much of it, but one thing is that her dog got an infection in his paw, so she's been spending a lot of time taking care of him. She sounded like her usual, giggling self, but she was yawning a lot and sounded exhausted. Still plans to be apart of Gen 3's anniversary.

A shame to hear things have been so rough for her lately, but she's determined to push through. Best wishes to her and her dog. Hopefully things start getting better for her soon.
