I know the situation with her father was quite bad, but from what I've seen, there has been complete radio silence since her update stream. She was in the Halloween merch, so I don't think Phase gave up on her, but I haven't heard anything from the other talents, so it's 50/50 on whether or not she's actually coming back.

The other talents don't treat her like she's dead, but don't address anything directly.

Anything I've seen is pure speculation. My personal speculation is that her father suddenly passed, since that's the simplest explanation that would take her away right after returning, but again there is no actual information at all.

Nope, there's nothing. Euphoria anniversary is in 2.5 weeks, unless they're planinng to go through an anniversary stream without ever acknowledging her absence, i'm cautiously-optimistic they'll have some clarification by then.

Her public presence is nonexistent, but if i recall correctly she was mentioned by the girls as recently as their concert trip in August.

You said you've watched Runie, but I'll recommend some of her content. For your particular preferences I recommend her most recent Phasmo stream as a teaser, and her RE2 playthrough just because it was good.

Start at 1 hour, the first hour was yapping while trying to get DMC1 to work. What came next was the most autistic "beginner" Phasmo gameplay I've ever witnessed:


This playlist is backwards for some reason so start at the bottom, Runie starts not knowing how to use mouse and keyboard FPS controls and by the end she's making snap shots and first-timing bosses:


Runie is as creative as Mint and Doki, yaps good in the style of Kiara, is as sweet as Amiya, and has zero loud = funny moments. She is very much not a gamer but she is a bone-headed perfectionist, that means you get the game learning journey every time in a good way. She'll play a game once or twice then decide to commit to a playthrough or not, and when she commits she finishes. No FOTM and no open-ended games.

But to be honest a good 60% of her content is non-gaming, split between roleplay/chatting with the occasional karaoke. I hadn't encountered a RP streamer before Runie so I had no idea what I was missing, it takes away the directionless feel of a chatting stream and brings in a story structure. I dunno if you're just a hardcore gaming stream enjoyer and if so there are better people to watch, for Phase maybe Jelly is good. But for me Runie is very easy to watch and there are very few misses in entertainment quality.

Not a hardcore gaming stream enjoyer strictly, it just takes a pretty good yapper to hold my attention.

She's definitely still around, just not very online. TBH, given how important she is and how long she's been with the company, I imagine she might have some ownership now.

That tweet actually birthed a /vt/ rrat(found courtesy of @DTrp) that what Rin(the manager) was trying to do is kick Hina out of whatever thread it was, and by accident tagged&kicked everyone instead. The claim was that Hina's nickname amidst all the others had a darker outline around it(which indeed it does, tho it took me a couple minutes to spot it properly).
Now i'm not a frequent discord user, so i honestly can't tell you how serious this suggestion might be. But yeah, at the very least that screenshot confirms that she's still in work server.

Someone posted that hina said that if her dad were to pass away she'd pretty much quit phase or vtubing can't remember exactly. Take with a grain of salt because it was second hand information but to the fact she went awol and no one at phase is saying anything it might've happen the worst. My nigga fishman probably gave her a "take all the time you need" and firing someone for going awol because their dad died is something out of niiggersanji
