She's falling into the same trap that fans of video games and anime fell into back in the day; how our hobby is "perceived" should not matter in the fucking slightest, and looking for validation from normies just lets them take advantage of that insecurity. Let this be our little niche, nerdy thing without inviting them in to homogenise it into the same bland, safe shit as everything else.
It's amazing how my opinion on Ironmouse has turned so radically in a fairly short period of time, from being someone I respected, to someone I was neutral on, to a filthy, addled stray cat who keeps dropping half-dead rats by the front door. Get Henya somewhere safe then just nuke what's left of VShojo at this point.
It's amazing how she manages to become more like an Idubbbz when she's trying not to be. I'm impressed honestly. Only with Pippa can you get the opposite results by trying to avoid it lol. That's our oshi I guess.

Personally I think the fear is overblown. His audience will not know of any vtubers other than ironmouse. It is not the first time she clung to a bigger flesh streamer and won't be the last. And just like every other occassion, all her flesh streamer friends cant name a single vshojo member beside ironmouse. And that is by design.

Honestly I don't think she has changed one bit. It's just a small part of audience realizing who she is, including you. She have "looked for validation" all her careers. She first stuck herself to Cdawg, OTV then OTK and now Kai Cenat. Do you not see a pattern?
She is a bonafide orbiter who will stick to the biggest thing she can while crying for pity and recognition.
She act completely different than a Suisei or a Sora, or even the pregraduated Pomu Rainpuff. People who builds their own brand while promoting their own company and doesnt rely on anyone bigger and doesnt constantly changing friends.
She is the head of VShojo in image. But she doesn't act like one. It is of no interest of her to see VShojo success, to prop up other talents within the company. You can see Matara, Henya, Zentreya as people who actually cared about VShojo. But you dont see it from their biggest star.

Gigi had a members stream yesterday, and I want to do a little write-up because its mostly just venting and complaining about GigiMama. GigiPapa seems to be out of the picture, she never talks about him.
This is just me reading through the lines, but Gigi said that her mom would harass her to get a job. Even in the past, she would not believe that Gigi is working in her room and she thought Gigi was fucking with her. But she stopped telling Gigi to get a job once the Hololive Paychecks started coming. She doesn't understand Gigi's job but she sees that Gigi is making money somehow.
So I wonder, did Gigi's Stay at V4Mirai not pay much? Are there numbers on what she did in superchats or viewers while she was Biscotti? Because it does sound like she didn't bring much home, if her mom only stopped complaining once the Hololive money came in.

- Gigi had to drive her to that appointment of hers btw

- She wants to go to a Spa with justice and get massages together
- She also wants to just barge into streams irl and hang out in the background (in the room) as the girl who is currently streaming

She was a 2-view under a corpo meaning they eats into her already low income. She streams around 14 times a month. She graduated with a whopping 14k subscribers. The lowest in the corpo.

I think it's easier to count vtubers whose problems wouldn't be solved by them dropping their family, pretending that they never existed, and starting an entirely new life somewhere else. 99% of issues they all seem to have boil down to parents who continue to tell them they are awful, take advantage of them, never acknowledge that what they are doing is important, are a ticking time bomb that will get them into serious legal troubles, and only remember they are parents when a vtuber tries to argue back. The fact that 99% of vtubers are different sort of asian descent is probably a significant contributing factor to that
