How are numbers of mythos girls? Is it just twitch bias or are they actually doing better than VNU and PixelLink? I feel like one of them could've been there for rising org, but maybe it's just my bias.

Mythos are generally sitting around 2view status, some of them are 3view but it's on the lower end of the spectrum. No idea about VNU or Pixel numbers.

When there's that many eyes on them and the particular tism of some of the audience has. I figure most of them basically said "fuck this shit" and decided to not rock the boat. If they collab outside the company you're gonna have droves of autistic retards making noise in favor and against you. Perms are probably a big thing too, imagine trying to play something with some indie you hit it off once but then have to ask said rando to email takeshi no friends a fucking essay on what you're gonna do and why.

Eh, showing up with intent doesn't preclude the possibility of the landscape changing over time at such a pace that the pros of wanting to collab with someone outside the company no longer outweighs the cons and pit-traps of collabing with an unvetted indie peasant, especially with the average quality and favorability of your average indie and their respective audience going down over time as the market gets more saturated

Hell, it's probably even more of a perms/management issue. All Takeshi has to say is "You wanna play and collab with fucking WHO...!? You have three other EN gens around you. Play with your sisters/cousins instead!"

I think this is the wrong attitude to take. Streamers should do collabs because they think it will make entertaining content and they'll have a good time. If the streamer is having a good time, the audience will too. If streamer are only doing a collab for clout or subs or whatever, it's not going to make for good content.

And there's plenty of vtubers that manage to make content without being a whore or too menhera, and somehow, Ollie has managed a bunch of collabs outside of Hololive without any issue. I'm sure there are legitimate reasons why other talents at Hololive don't collab outside of the company, but a lack of people worth collabing with isn't one of them.
