On the subreddit thread. VGbootcamp, a channel with 600k followers and 1k2 avg CCV who host game tournament, said they have seen 0 ad revenue drop. Seems like twitch is specifically targetting politics and finance streamers and not hitting the "gamers". Atm only Kirsche from the vtubing scene is liable to get hit with the adpocalypse.
Also automated ad revenue isn't a huge chunk of a streamer's income (about 90% of a streamer income is sponsor, merch and subs), they live fine without it. Streamers cry about having to run ads (twitch force it on them) all the time, because automated ads drives off viewers.
Different, braindead twitch streamer got 87x his ads revenue the day he stopped talking about the election and play games again.

Having them all look so damn similar is certainly a choice, but I think it will muddy their brand recognition in the long run, distinct colors and designs are industry standard for a reason.

Yeah, I guess it was all a bit topsy-turvy. Remember that they essentially revealed the designs before they even teased with the silhouettes because they had the background dolls in the streams.
But I don't really see why not. It doesn't seem to have hurt the hype and from what I'm hearing they're a good amount of attention in Japan as well.

First season was a slow burn but I have a feeling now that the talents know what works they'll hit the ground running.
I wasn't expecting it but it makes sense, it's probably not a coincidence that Juna was one of the first people to collab with Doki (she even helped out with the casting at WrestleTuber). Plus she's a great singer to boot.
