On the subreddit thread. VGbootcamp, a channel with 600k followers and 1k2 avg CCV who host game tournament, said they have seen 0 ad revenue drop. Seems like twitch is specifically targetting politics and finance streamers and not hitting the "gamers". Atm only Kirsche from the vtubing scene is liable to get hit with the adpocalypse.
Also automated ad revenue isn't a huge chunk of a streamer's income (about 90% of a streamer income is sponsor, merch and subs), they live fine without it. Streamers cry about having to run ads (twitch force it on them) all the time, because automated ads drives off viewers.
Different, braindead twitch streamer got 87x his ads revenue the day he stopped talking about the election and play games again.
