The problem with this is that there isn't any real way to prove someone's race outside of like, identification or other intrusive measures. It's why I don't judge people's models by their skin tone, people shouldn't have to be limited to what they are in real life.
I would love to live in a world where racial issues weren't a huge thing and everyone can be anime in peace, but that's not reality, not entirely. I'd like to think most people don't give a fuck who's behind the model and just want to be entertained, though.
Maybe I'm just really naive.
