I am going to do an end-of-year stream on the 30th of December. If anyone would like to make a nice thumbnail for it, DM me. I can pay in a free title, advertisement, or filthy lucre - I can actually do this now as PayPal has finally recognized my business account.
As we head in 2025, TVA's rules have been updated and clarified after extensive consultation with various users. These updates are designed to make it more obvious how staff conduct business and make our standards of behaviour abundantly clear to guests interested in signing up.
How bad was the Faunadox? I backread and it sounded pretty hard-core, but I am wondering if it is something she should take action on or if it's just just a bunch of pissing in the wind?
If it is real, which seems likely, it was an extensive one that doxed her old residence and her ex-boyfriend, Eddy and his fiance. With her old residence, it should technically be possible to find her new place, if you are autistic enough, I would think. Also, if it is real, she is most definitely aware and doing something about it, which is why she went on break suddenly.

And just to make everyone on the planet paranoid. Think of this, this person paid for this stuff to stalk publicly. Think about how many fucks are out there pay for this stuff to spy on you and don't advertise it on the internet.
If I understood it correctly it seems like her old college lab's blog got raided with cuckposts, "mommy I'm cooming" and other similar troll posts. I feel bad for the unrelated place getting raided like that but it doesn't seem actually harmful.
This is just how humans function. Band societies were pretty much hard capped at 30-40 people and even then, they didn't know all the members of their camp on a personal level.
Well yeah, people forget this is how we are meant to be and why society is more and more fucked up as people have no meaningful social interactions or social group.
Here's a reverse r34 Vtuber. Originally an ero doujin character, last page has a QR code which links to the channel.
AZKi back on map game.
Ange Katrina back in Trinity preparing for Eden Treaty. It's a swimsuit episode.
Might also pull the limited gacha since the current collab is Railgun and the characters available to pull are Misaka and Misaki.
Norio, Itou Life, and Ui-mama talking about Loli God Requiem.
Eyy, it's Towa! I remember talking about her once or twice in the first thread, and yes she is from a ero-doujin. If we want to be a bit technical, she's from a set of fanart involving gyarus (literally titled "Huge Breasted Gyarus") drawn by her artist papa, Satou Daiji/Armadillo_Daiji.
I think at some point the character got redesigned as a vtuber character, turning her from a simple and atypical "Highschool Gyaru that probably eat shotas for breakfast" into highly sexualized but still gyaru cabaret bunny girl vtuber. Pretty decently popular (not sure how many her CCV is but I assume to be at least 2view level), but mostly JP fans all around, which is why I'm quite surprised that someone finally made a EN TL clip of her.
Nowadays I used her streams as background noise (partly because she has a swimsuit themed L2D in which she's basically on all fours.... very yabai) because her voice is quite deep and pleasant but early on she is quite fun to watch, especially when she's often in voice chat with her artist papa to act as her coach for stuff like her first time streams of playing Arknights, etcetra.
Could an Indo-man maybe help TL this part?
Apparently she is talking about the costs for her MVs and says that her most expensive project was I'm Toxic with the 3D MV made by Kanauru
I think Kanauru may run somewhere in the 2-3k USD range for his MVs, going off what Kiara and Bae have said about their potential MV costs. Surprised that the fully animated High Tide was not more expensive.

I speak the cursed language for a living so I can help describe it.
As you suspected, yes she is talking about the cost of the animations and mentioned that the I'm Toxic animation made by Kanauru is the most expensive one. She then clarified that the most expensive part is depending on the animators themselves, something that she said along the line of "It could be cheaper, but it could be longer (time for the animation to be finished)". In detail, she explained that it really depends on how much Moona will spent early on, and there's also the fact that the animator themselves might be doing other works aside of moona's, and to mention the lot of stuff that need to be done when it's started like sketches, effects and so on. So, it's either she can pay cheaper with more time to wait, or she can pay in full and get it slightly faster.
She then clarified that the animations is generally the most time-consuming part of the MV making process compared to the music part, before stating that 3D is generally faster to make, even with the cost. After that she answered a question regarding whether she's gonna do similar thing Marin has done (MV using anime-style animations) and immediately stated "Nope, way too much even for my budget" because it means that it needs japanese animator and the prices is... way too much for her funds. "Maybe JP and EN member can do it, but Moona can't. My budget is not that big."
After that she said that she's looking for animators, both 2D and 3D and also lyrics-focused animators, but so far she hasn't found any. Then she answers some more questions with a mention of an animator called Vinji , before I focused on the part where she got a question ("what program animator needed to use for the animations, Moona? Maya/Blender?") and she just said "Anything! So long that the project's all done!"
Es wäre eine Weltpremiere beim ESC: ein Wettbewerbsbeitrag wird von einem 3D-Avatar performt und tritt dennoch „live“ auf. Genau das plant die VirtualTuberin Takanashi Kiara für kommend…

Will Germany provide the first 3D avatar at the ESC? VTuber Takanashi Kiara applies for "The German Final 2024
It would be a world premiere at the ESC: a competition entry is performed by a 3D avatar and still performs "live". That's exactly what VirtualTuber Takanashi Kiara is planning for next year in Malmö. The Internet star has now announced that she has signed up for The German Final 2024 shortly before the application deadline. For those who only understand station so far, this article will give you all the answers. We take a closer look at what is probably the most unusual potential preliminary act to date.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, is on everyone's lips at the moment. But it's not just tools that are repeatedly criticized for being dangerous at some point. In addition to the morally dubious possibilities of realistically manipulating images or even completely replacing singers, a more harmless technology can also be counted as part of the AI revolution: live 3D animation. This is exactly what Takanashi Kiara is making use of, because she is a VTuber.
Behind this is the term Virtual-YouTuber:in. Instead of the real person, you see a kind of "personalized anime" that is controlled by the facial expressions and gestures of the actual person with the help of motion software. In this sense, the voice and movements of the VTuber:in are real, but the appearance is virtual. And it is precisely with this ultra-modern technology, which incidentally originated in Japan, that Takanashi Kiara wants to compete for Germany at the ESC 2024!
The VTuber has already released several songs and collected an impressive 1.5 million followers through her videos and livestreams on YouTube. Her first album was released this August, just a few days before September 1, which is considered the day when potential ESC songs can be released. After Takanashi Kiara initially assumed that she did not have a suitable song for the preliminary round, she found a solution together with producer friends. As she now told in a livestream, she was played the demo version of a song, which she liked directly.
Within a few days, the team had to record the number and even partially complete it so that it could be submitted to NDR. According to her own statement, Takanashi Kiara already applied last year for Unser Lied für Liverpool with the song "DO U" (see video above), but was not selected for the preliminary round. Whether it will work this time, of course, she does not know exactly. But her expectations are low, because in her opinion Germany doesn't dare to do very much at the ESC:
The probability that the [project] will be rejected is high. Not only because they might not like the song, but also because they might not be able to imagine how to use an avatar there [note: at the preliminary round] - or because they might not have confidence in it.
Takanashi Kiara is from Austria and started working as a VTuber in 2020. Her team of producers, however, is from Germany. With which number she has signed up for Das deutsche Finale 2024 is unclear so far. Since the ESC involves live performance and the person singing has to be on stage, it is conceivable that Takanashi Kiara would sing and move live behind an LED wall or screen. Only the avatar would be visible on the screen, showing a kind of snapshot of the singer's movements - if NDR decides to allow this unusual show to compete at all.
The whole thing would actually be something revolutionary. The only performance in the ESC world that we can think of that ever used live 3D animation was in Estonia in 2016. At least in the Eesti Laul preliminary, Cartoon and Kristel Asslaid performed "Immortality" live using the innovative technology. But it was ABBA who first made 3D animation, in a slightly modified version, popular worldwide. Due to the "Voyager Tour", the hologram technology might be familiar to some people:
But how likely is it that the ESC managers at NDR will select an act like Takanashi Kiara? While it would be a real chance to stand out in the competition and present something really new to the viewers, at the same time the performance could involve a lot of effort. On the other hand: no effort, no prize! At the same time, if NDR were to win the preliminary round, they would have to use all their weight and negotiating skills with the EBU to get the act through to Malmö. That's not impossible, but you have to want it.
We remain curious about the future of Takanashi Kiara. Either way, she plans to release her potential ESC song next year. She described it as a "badass K-pop song" comparable to music by Blackpink.
Can you imagine a 3D Avatar performance in the German preliminary round? What acts would you like to see in "The German Finale 2024"? Let us know in the comments.
I am feeling autistic, so let's look at this.
Or, mostly, the comments on this site.
With over 200 comments, Kiaras article about her participation in the ESC is the most polarising by far.
The article is overall positive. It explains both what a Vtuber and who Kiara is fairly well.
It has a bit of a weird opener, connecting Kiara to AI (author seems to think that her Live2D or 3D bodies seem to be animated using AI). It pronounces already that convincing the organisers to let an anime girl on stage would be difficult but not impossible, and maybe it would be good to show Germany off with a Vtuber, so they have something unique to present.
The comments are, for the most part, surprisingly positive as well.
The general feeling seems to be that, while they aren't fully convinced by either her voice or her songs linked in the article, they aren't fully against it either. Not like Germany has anything to lose in this contest, they have been last place for the last couple of years. So while it's not everyone's cup of tea, it's at least something new and attention-grabbing.
There are more than just those, but to give an idea
Most comments are from the same few people, autistically discussing the feasibility of her act and if the use of an avatar breaks any rules, how the technology could be used to get both Kiara the person and Kiara as her avatar on stage.
But also, there are a couple of fun comments from a few nay-sayers who pretend to have understood what a Vtuber is but really, they haven't. It's a weird angle of autism I haven't seen a lot on this forum, so I shall share. Especially a user called Trevoristos is guilty of this. This whole comment chain, I can't begin to describe it.
He believes that Kiaras audition is a PR gag by Cover and that, anyways, Vtubers produce none of their own content and are just voice actors. She probably doesn't even know how much she is earning on her channel because she doesn't own her channel, Cover corp does (I mean, yes but no)
The discussion further down devolved from being about Kiara and just about virtual vs real vs masked performances in general, and here you can also see that it was a bad idea from the article author to mention AI, because some people seem to think that Kiara is fully AI.
Oh hey, KFP breaking containment
Man goes on weird Rant some more about how Kiara doesn't have any agency and it's all just le big evil corpo instigating and trying to sell their product on the stage of the ESC
Well, that's it for my highlights of the normie comment section.
It's not as bad as it may seem, its really the same 2-3 people commenting over and over again that she is AI / artificial / a corporate product and should be banned from Eurovision, as if Muppets or masked singers were never on the show before.
I was reading those comments on Wednesday. That Trevoristos guy just spews misinformation over and over to every thread someone makes. Dude seems like a real twat.

Surely this guy is aware that the ESC is the most commercialised music event in the world, organised by national broadcasting organisations ("The State")? Who make up half the vote through their godforsaken handpicked juries, no less?
Fucking Nijisanji is less commercial and literal orders of magnitude less plastic than the ESC.

Kobo didn't have any JP girls, pretty unique. The uproar guys are pretty fun when I watch them. Overall, my fav 3D of the three. ID girls really bring everyone together and I love that.
