In Xeet 3/4, she's written "My injury had gotten infected, and I didn't know how to treat it. I went into the hospital to get it checked, and they said I would probably be stuck there for 1-2 weeks." and, bolded for emphasis: "...hoping to not worry them too much about this literal gash I have in my arm that was to the bone, and I could hardly move my arm"
In Tarda's response, she's talking about a suicide attempt and a mental health break.

Am I misunderstanding, or did she cut her wrists insanely fucking bad, and get the wounds infected to boot? Call me worse than Hitler, but I don't see how someone with such severe health issues of every kind can work in any consistent capacity.

Is this supposed to make her look more justified? It just looks even more like she's a retard, the group is better off, and they should probably slap her shit for trying to besmirch their name by denouncing them over her own bullshit. Sitting here acting like Tard is doing something wrong by trying to get her to commit on a position that she tried to initially back out of by attempting suicide and from the looks of it, spun a lie about what happened when being confronted about stability. Imagine being on the management side, having this talent lined up for your group that's supposed to debut and they go missing just before debut with no warning. A few days afterwards you find out it's because they killed themselves?

The teamates in Ame fan discord seem to like it, they believe it's either written by the fans or the talents were consulted. One of the sentences in the book was "Ame rather drink iced tea than soda" which was apparently said by Ame herself. Also something interesting, Ame also directly made fun of those "gossip" sites.

I didn't read it all in full, but I think the biggest issue is Mikunt basically dancing around the fact she tried to kill herself and making excuses while saying she didn't need to explain anything. I'd not blame Tard for not presuming that the girl tried to off herself and/or had a tendency otherwise towards this kind of breakdown as her own admittance. It probably just looked more like this girl was being dodgy about reasons until she admitted she tried to kill herself, and in that case I still stick with the idea of asking about her stability. Either she's better and not a risk anymore and needs to prove it by committing to the work as a vtuber, or just fuck off because the stress of the work almost literally killed her once before and it's not worth the risk of having her self terminate later on when things go wrong again.

Iphone is for facial capture using the IR camera using ARkit, a wide lens webcam like the one she has can be used in conjunction for overall body and head tracking beyond the range of the narrow FOV Iphone IR camera. Double camera setup generally gives the best results.

The only thing I have mixed feelings about is how well she spoke English, yet wasn't able to understand Ina and Gura prior to the book. (Which is also why I'm really curious as to what's actually on the CD) But I imagine as far as the English language goes, neither Ina nor Gura are blabbermouths or talk very fast on stream so I'd imagine they're fairly easy to understand for people who just started learning English.

neither Ina nor Gura are blabbermouths or talk very fast on stream so I'd imagine they're fairly easy to understand for people who just started learning English.

There was a video made by a Japanese fan, ranking the difficulty in understanding each of their English, and Gura and Ina were among the most difficult, only beaten by Mumei.


Ina apparently has a weird way of pronouncing words, while Gura speaks really fast and has the tendency to switch topic mid-sentence without pause (though those shouldn't be an issue for the scripted audio book).
