It looks like he made a shorter video four weeks ago that she either didn't notice or didn't reply to and now he's trying again for some reason.
Apparently at no point between punching trees with cartoon boxing gloves in a forest while wearing a Batman cowl, editing it into a nearly half-hour-long video, and posting it on YouTube did he think "wow, this is really embarrassing. Maybe I shouldn't do this."
My guess is he's trying the old "become popular by calling out more popular YouTubers" trick that was all the rage in the early '10s. Well, good luck with that.
