A lot of them are also seething because a simple RPGmaker game blew up in popularity and the creator likely made a lot of money, definitely a lifechanging amount of money. Pretty sure same thing happened with Omari where they doxed the creator of that game.

That second part isn't really true, the incest stuff is one scene in a dream or vision whereas the majority of the game is about cannibalism, murder, and summoning demons. Which if you haven't seen a playthrough of yet, I highly recommend the Pippa version as her voice acting is far too adorable.

No kidding, the whole thing just shows how gay social media is. The person who made the game made an interesting product that happened to contain dark themes, but that was the point of the product, it was very clearly trying to push boundaries but not by simply being as shocking as possible, rather it presented fucked up things in a way that was shocking but in a soft enough way that it wasn't obnoxious.

As the resident turbo leftist there's nothing that irritates me more than "leftists" who are consistently reactionary, unnuanced, uncritical, and undialectic in their engagement with controversial topics. I don't remember her take on being a VA, but it came up as a conversation when she did the stream with the VA pervert who voiced Colress.
