I'm not going to claim that Gura caused a disturbance in the Force but...holy hell traffic was 1000% more retarded than usual this morning. Dumbass tries to move into my lane while I'm next to him then after I passed him I see in my rearview that he did it again nearly hitting a second car that was next to him. Three different intersections had someone suddenly decide to just go during a red light and nearly cause a crash. Witnessed two near pileups from people up ahead just changing lanes without signalling and tailgating. People around here are stupid but this was some odd timing.

The whole season was incredibly slow and felt like it was spinning its wheels for too long, only to rush through the plot development for the last few episodes without giving much meaning or weight to said plot development. I get what they were trying to go for with the end but man, it was just uninteresting and the fight scenes were full of slomo while obscuring all the action. I could definitely tell they had to rework things so it wasn't blatantly Trump Kingpin, only heavily alluded to.

The choice of music throughout the season was also REALLY AWFUL. Especially the music at the end of the penultimate episode. This was such a downgrade from the Netflix series. Several episodes I would pause and go do something else because I was getting extremely bored with it.

Except that last episode its so blatantly Trump Kingpin, and we know the reshoots are all the ones that include Karen and Frank. That last episode was completely redone if not completely new. So the current showrunner fell into the same trappings as the previous ones.

Daredevil could've been A LOT worse given it's Disney. I still think it was a good effort but I am disappointed with things such as the filler episode, Muse being built up and then being abruptly killed off, and a lack of screentime for characters both old and new. I am surprised they kept the violence intact. There was some genuinely good writing and character moments in here, and I still love the first Muse fight.

Also, didn't they overhaul the entire show? Simple reshoots would've been far more noticeable imo.

We still have another season and the Punisher special. I also read that they apparently want to do more stories with the Hand and Defenders, we'll see where this road goes. I did like Luke Cage and enjoyed his team up with Iron Fist.

I watched it for Miyako. The younger girls are cute, I suppose, but Mya-nee is peak character design.

I don't like her a lot because originally, she was intended to be a guy into cute fashion and cooking, but the editor thought it would be "too creepy to have a young adult male hanging around with his little sister's friends" and I think that's retarded.
But I agree she is an excellent "I will marry and reproduce" design, it hits straight into the late 20s audience.

I don't think they are. I feel like for season 2, they particularly want to get Jessica and maybe Luke. I don't think Danny Rand Iron Fist is ever coming back despite how much his actor wants it. They already confirmed an Asian Iron Fist that is not Colleen for some animated thing.

I kind of hope it is H3, not because there's anything actually juicy to talk about that hasn't been covered at great length already, but because of the amount of online leftist infighting it'd cause. There's so many angles it could backfire on him from: the H3/Hasan fallout was huge and everyone in that particular audience has very firmly picked a side, Ethan is incredibly outspoken on the Israel/Palestine shit which is obviously a hot-button topic for them right now, and they've been dealing with actual irl harassment recently from redditors making false reports that Ethan was abusing their children - so making a video shitting on him now would be "dogpiling" which is a big no-no (and one of the things Ian explicitly disavowed when crying about his old videos).
