Finished Daredevil Born Again with my friends. It's so fucking bad; the reshoots made things worse. You know they were strapped for time when most of the final fights are slo-mo and overly CGI. Characters are all over the place and the showrunner and probably the ex-showrunners leaned way too hard into turning Kingpin into a Trumpstiche. Vigilantes are locked in these little cages at the very end, while Matt does this slow panning shot of minor characters as he slow talks about resisting and our city. It's highly cringe.

The whole season was incredibly slow and felt like it was spinning its wheels for too long, only to rush through the plot development for the last few episodes without giving much meaning or weight to said plot development. I get what they were trying to go for with the end but man, it was just uninteresting and the fight scenes were full of slomo while obscuring all the action. I could definitely tell they had to rework things so it wasn't blatantly Trump Kingpin, only heavily alluded to.

The choice of music throughout the season was also REALLY AWFUL. Especially the music at the end of the penultimate episode. This was such a downgrade from the Netflix series. Several episodes I would pause and go do something else because I was getting extremely bored with it.
