ignore the hater, though 90s mel brooks isnt all that grear

Id say he at least earned his reputation no real flops to his name and most of the movies mange to be funny or at least that was the case till around 2020 when he started making presumably terrible decisions to write a children's superhero movie (seriously wtf is paws of fury supposed to be?) and made history of the world part 2 which i also presume to be terrible but im open to being wrong.

The issue with Mel Brooks is that both of his best films released the same year. Kind of like the Jim Carrey effect where he had all his hits in 1994. Even prior movies like the Producers get compared to that and it's hard to recapture magic twice much less a third time.
