Holy shit. I decided to check out Akinator after hearing Biboo play with it while waiting for the PoE 2 servers to open up, so I decided to try it out. This thing is genuinely impressive. After it got my first one pretty easily, I decided to try a more obscure character. It managed to guess Tips from from the Pizza Thot meme on its second try (the first was Doomer Girl).

A bit of a severe off topic rant. But I'm getting annoyed with the guitar centric side of Youtube.
Maybe its because of my origins as a guitar player, the type of music I listen to but I'll always see shit like "tips to getting better at playing guitar" and its always fucking scales.
Like where are the useful tips actually from in my experience? They are out there. I would ignore most teachers (one guy who goes by Shred seems fine though and yes he talks about scales) as they are stuck in their own little guitar trap world. Who gives good tips? Old guitar players, I'm talking old blues guys, old rock guys. Hell listen to Blackmore, Nugent, Clapton. Seems obvious but they are way better at explaining stuff to a layman despite how seasoned they are.
Music producers, yes there are some who are overly OCD (and let's be honest fucking autistic) but getting testimonials on how Butch Vig got Nirvana to record their guitar or how ZZ Top approached it can be super helpful. And oddly enough, but also not if you think about it, gear manufacturers. Amp makers, pedal makers somehow are very good at explaining guitar stuff.
This weird guitar side on youtube that seems to be the popular stuff seems in some ways much too advanced for most guitar players. And quite frank unless you are playing Jazz the shit doesn't really even sound that great. It's like cool I can noodle a solo in different scales I'm ready for the orchestra. That ain't rock and roll. Of course music theory can help you with song writing but shit these guitar noodlers are boring as fuck and i feel that they exist to intimidate new recruits for no reason. The guitar is an entry level instrument, its easy to learn hard to master. But we don't need masters as most masters are boring.
