For what it's worth, in the article it basically says a 27 year old woman fished around doctors to get two different OKs on using MAID to end herself due to, apparently, being unhappy with being diagnosed autistic. The only other details of note in the article is that her father apparently can't get any information released on the hows or why the approvals were given in the first place and that these approvals from two doctors is all that's needed to qualify. Other articles on it correlate details that her claim is that her continued life is intolerable but refuses to publicly disclose exactly what it is about her situation that is actually intolerable, while her father claims her physical health should be fine and the issues are entirely mental.
The headline is just sensationalist cocksucking by a typical journo fag looking for rage bait. It's not like they're choosing autistic people to kill for being autistic, it's someone who gamed the system and found two lazy scrip-fillers who will more or less sign off on anything asked of them to get patients in and out of their office ASAP. It's a failing of the system overall if they can just have the "right" people sign off on it to allow it to go through without having to actually prove their suffering, and with invisible ailments like mental health good luck ever reliably proving it. This is why it's primarily considered mainly for physical ailments and diseases and there's a lot of questioning on whether it should be allowed solely for psychological issues.
Kind of fucked up that the system can be manipulated so easily, and that it comes across as a sort of "Once it's filed there's no going back" kind of situation and giving absolutely no details to immediate family. It needs more time to cook if someone can just dragnet local doctors until they get enough OK's to die because they feel sad and once the sign-off is done there is nothing that can stop it.
