I don't follow all the one and two-views, but there's always new vtubers debuting all the time, if you want fresh talent. For Phase Connect, I am pretty sure that Eimi and Hina had never done vtubing before joining Phase Connect, and Runie had been a vtuber for less than a week. I'm sure other people know of fresh talents that have become vtubers in other corpos. If you want to say that no new talent is getting in to the industry, you should spend more time looking.

I didn't say no new talent I said that supply was not meeting demand. even only taking the big two into account they are already fighting for scraps and that's not considering Vwhorejo Phase and whatever other corpos are out there.

Yes she is swedish which makes this extra funny. I was looking around and many indies I like vouch for her being a sweet girl on the grind for years. While I tried to check the vods for myself, most of them are sub-only on Twitch so it's hard to know at first glance.

I've not heard any complaints about the quality or work ethic of Hololive's last group, for example, which debuted nine months ago. There's not been any real drama attached to them, they seem to be doing quite well in terms of subs and donations. When does their "scrap" nature manifest, and what will that look like? Answer: because I don't give enough of a shit about other corpos and what they're doing to be read up on their talent's past-life information. If this is a concern to you, you can always look up new talents and two-views, or you could ask rather than just assuming that no-one hires fresh talents. We just don't talk about them here because we already have people we watch regularly, it doesn't mean they don't exist.

I've universally enjoyed the Swedish & Dutch vtubers I've encountered. My plate is kind of full enough at this point I can't justify adding another vtuber to my watching list, but what I've seen of her is already good.

The Rec Room is currently fairly quiet overall. I've been looking through my personal archives and realizing I have a large amount of stuff saved that is technically here on the forum, but not well-collated in any one spot. I've chased up a few leads recently, and I think I'm going to start compiling things together into a list of the vtuber fans and wannabe-vtubers out there who have a history of being extremely toxic to the medium. Right now they get covered semi-often in things like Kuri Rinji's livestreams or other commentary channels, but that info is almost always hard to locate and parse as the events fade from public awareness. There was a brief attempt to do this quite a while ago, but I was too busy with IRL stuff to really contribute. However, I feel like it's as good a time as any to give it another go. So we'll see.
