Actually just port all the fucking (3)DS games, the Dominus collection gave me back POR/OOE/AOS, we have (most of?) the Ace Attorney games, 1-3 of EO. Just offload all the old portable games to Steam already so I can just buy a steam deck.
Just buy a Steam Deck and emulate the games, tbh. The Steam Deck is an amazing emulation device. Just emulate it? Running a rom through Citra is just as good as any shitty 3DS port you're going to get on steam nowadays, and you can run it through the Retro Arch platform on the Deck. Mostly I want online function back for Explorers and I fucking hate fiddling around with things trying to get them to work. I don't want to have to think about it and I would rather pay for the convenience of something using steam connectivity than trying to wrestle with some emulation platform trying to get the same thing out of it. I already emulate so many other (3)DS games to relative success but FFE is largely defined by it's multiplayer and I miss it.
