The number aspect is a no brainer, the demographic is the issue. Is like showing a big mac ad during a vergan concert or whatever those fags gather around. Yeah a fuckton of people are gonna see it but they're not even remotely interested in what you're selling. If he were to announce invaders3 I'd say he'd get a better return in that investment but a performance that you can easily sell tickets for is just a loss overall.

Lurker's got a point that the audience for idol vtubers isn't necessarily the same as the audience for vtuber award shows. However, I think it's a cool moment for Lia, Lumi the other Phase girls, and Phase fans in general, and there should be at least some crossover to help draw interest from fans who want idol-based content towards Phase Connect. I think it was a worthwhile spend by Fishman to get this to happen.
