I can honestly see both sides of this. If someone comes into v-tubing and their whole gimmick is "I am a wife with kids" from the beginning, I don't think it would necessarily be an impossible thing to do. It would certainly change the dynamic of the fanbase compared to traditional v-tubing, but it's not like it's completely unprecedented. On the other hand, you probably won't get the delusional mega-whales that make v-tubing successful as a business, either.
I could see it working in Hololive specifically because of the very wide fanbase and the ability to do stuff like music releases, collabs, and concerts that make money on their own merit. I don't know that any other corpo could pull it off, and on an indie level it'd be a gimmick streamer more than anything else. Not that Holo would EVER take a chance on something like that, but they're probably the only ones that could make a reasonable attempt at it if they wanted to.
My brothers in Christ, we just witnessed the entire community coom themselves to the point that they took 6 years off their lifespan because of Pekora's actual mother. This community in general suffers from nuclear grade mommy issues. A vtuber debuting as a mother with kids is not a problem.
I never care about any of these award show/popularity contests/circle jerks. Never needed an award show to affirm what my favorites of any year were. Though I do vote in the TVA and Lolcow of the Year ones
That being said, it would be nice to see Peo win Rising Star. She's not a pessimistic asshole like I am and hasn't become jaded to so much shit, so I know she'd be very happy to win it. Best of luck to her, and I hope she gets it because she definitely deserves it.

Man, I don't remember when the upgrade was but something about Mint's model is so painfully fucking cute now, it's actually crazy. For the first time in a long, long time just watching this goofy ghost bitch bounce around is pure dopamine I haven't felt from a chinese cartoon streamer in years now.
I would've picked PixelLink before any of the actual nominees - I think they compete fairly well in terms of noombers, plus they've done a lot of cool stuff in the small corpo space like the VSMP Minecraft server, karaoke relays, etc. Bonus points for being an actual small corpo and not just Brave wearing a disguise. (though I'm still gonna vote for V4Mirai)
It's the art-style leaning a bit more towards cute moe instead of the usual/common shoujo style that's been ubiquitous in the industry's design over the years. It helps that Mint's color scheme isn't very messy color-wise so it doesn't look too busy.
Her color scheme actually reminds me of Pikamee's Monster Hoodie re-design:

You're talking about a talent agency where one girl had to say in hushed tones and with shame in her breath that she might have to collab with a male for a project and framed it as asking her fans for permission. That same girl also later talked about another musical project that might involve some heavy metal and couldn't refer to a fellow male talent by name.
Kronii, Calli, and ERB are exceptions. Even Shiori who busted in the door screaming "I'M GONNA COLLAB WITH WHOEVER THE HELL I WANT" still hasn't gone outside the company for shit.
