Being fair, silence has been her response to practically any drama surrounding her thus far (unless I've missed a public apology post at some point) and it has been proven to work better than bowing and scraping before the mob like a lot of other vtubers have done, so it might just be her natural response that got reinforced by working multiple times.

these people are the exact reason why no one has said anything. it has been made very obvious already that nothing would be good enough for them. fillian could give every single penny she has to the artist of her model and they would still demand she do more.
even if she gets an entirely new model they are going to try and chase her off because that is the only way she can pay for her crimes. it's why i hope she can actually work something out with the artist and keep the model.

im gonna disagree on this, it's a big enough stain that will get brought up again and again and again even if she change her model.
Jesus christ just apologize publicly and pay the author how hard is that. Just say something like "I'm sorry for being unprofessional. I should have contacted the author to sell merches". And at best it can be took as admission of guilt for the merches and nothing else.
Mythic probs hired a lawyer for her and told her to not say anything so she still can "win the case". I highly doubt that if this case ever go to a court filian has any chance of winning, admission of pirating at every step of the way and the model being the exact same. Just shutting up for the 0.01% chance she win in court is so damn stupid.
It's kinda impossible for the artist to know how much money filian made off streaming to even claim. The only hard number he will be able to request and provide is how much her merches sold, which should be tiny to how much money she really have.
The stupid thing to do though is throwing in a random "I have always respected artists" everyone does in their apologizes though, that'll get community noted fast because she sells AI porn on fansly

It's not from NND, but I just discovered that apparently it seems someone have done some insane digging and managed to find who she is, and released a compilation on a telegram channel at the end of last year, including a video of a family gathering where you could hear someone talking that sounds like Suisei. Obviously I won't post or link to any of it, since Proctor doesn't want it here.
The voice did sound similar to me, but there wasn't enough for me to be certain.
And that would have been it, if not for an update from two days ago with a video that the alleged mother posted on FB, of her wearing a Midnight Grand Orchestra shirt.
It could just be a massive coincidence, but with all the other stuff, it's hard to ignore.
So I guess the moral of this story is, it doesn't matter how good your opsec is, it's only as good as the weakest link.
In this case, a mother that's very proud of her daughter.
