Just double checked. She did tweet at him a day before his debut and he did respond within a few hours, which makes it even funnier that she had a meltdown and vagueposted a day letter right before his debut.

[a]
She probably tried to use him as her "in" to collab with the Hololive girls and he turned her down.

Ok, then all ended just fine. But it's really crazy how thist went just under my nose. Too much information to parse, I guess. Thanks for informing us!

Unlike you, I forget about whores (derrogative) very quickly, they don't deserve to occupy a single neuron from my brain.

Unless they're a liability and need some whore-checking: Yozora Aoi is at it again.
240607-021449.png

First off, she's collabing with KK, Shimada and Mimi, the three of them are very close from the Chuchubu days, another defunct Twitch indie group that I've mentioned before.
She did contact KK beforehand, so what I surmise is: Yozora, being close-knit with Shiina (from the Yokomeshi days where she was Shirara and had the Wonton "B-b-b-boyfriend" Incident), is seen as a step towards Phase and the bigger fish, and KK numberfags from time to time. Roping other people into it might be coincidental, but Shimada also knows Yozora from past collabs.
Mimi might be aware of what Yozo did during the first wave of Yokomeshi, as she was an average-sized artist on Twitter and the boards, thus did some doodles on early Yokomeshi, but this is pure speculation, I don't have as much info as I'd like on her.

If you aren't aware of who Yozora is, I did an write-up and an TL;DR addendum:
It's really hard to prove it without outing yourself as most of it was done backstage within a small group, and no one wanted to defy Yozora's at the time (she had some influence when the EN indie scene was smaller) neither wants to do it now as it's already dead, but:

Shirara, LittleS, Yozora, Moriko, Eros, Koopa
(Cut from the dead YT channel)
240308-223040.png

Nagi Quetz, Goonyella, HinaBobina, Meicha (KitsuneSpirit), Yozora, Valravn, Nanase Cain, Ecotone, Eros, Roopyroo, Bukimera (BunmeiRA).
KokoNuts was also a member between those times but I didn't find her on the banners.
Long story short, Yozora and LittleS (e)dated, and that was fine for a while, the group was flourishing and LittleS was coming up at an amazing pace, but later it was revealed that the whore was using him since the beginning:
240308-231654.png

I know this screenshot looks manufactured from the sheer Disney villain energy, but it is real.
LittleS gave everything for the group, as the group was for Yozo herself. After talks went around, and he started being attacked, LittleS began his menhera arc, and he went quite nuclear on it, threatening doxxing merch buyers and allegedly even swatting some.
240308-232749.png

The so famous leaked print from a particular group when he went nuclear.

240309-023420.png

Convo with a mod, the porn mentioned here is probably just 2D porn with their characters
Because of that, the narrative was spun and now LittleS was the great villain of all consumers and vtubers, stomping over people's goodwill for buying their favorite whore's merchandise. After that, everyone in the indie scene admonished (or felt compelled to) LittleS and sent him into a spiral of self-righteous lunacy until he broke and left, leaving the bigger snake behind.
But she felt it wasn't enough, and started a defamation front against Moriko midway that process, to further bolster her "upstanding morals" and position as a victim, deserving of attention, but this time it failed because people either ignored it or outted her out-of-context push against the Bat.
The second and final implosion, as hinted by Mei, was that there was a problematic individual and it just fell apart naturally because of the bad atmosphere created, but the rrats are that Yozo fucked a viewer, and said viewer being inserted in the group was the last straw, but I got no confirmation on the 2nd generation and final downfall. She tried to keep the group afloat with a rebrand to Tokimeki Live! but it seems it died quickly, I also got no info on that part of the story.
From the time of the events (sep/21 to feb/22) there were many vagueposters hinting the story on the boards because they couldn't leave LittleS undefended, but in the end it gave no fruit because it never hit the public eye.
Kokonuts tried to talk shit and virtue signal some stuff when Mari sang a Yamanba during a rap song, throwing Bat in the middle of it out of nowhere, and she joined Yokomeshi right after Moriko left, so there's clearly bad blood between them (I would hate a backstabbing coomer monkey as well, her streams are boring)

Her name was muddied for the foreseeable future, and she was stuck into the 200ccv swamp for years, but now there's something new:
240309-024645.png

It seems the bitch was cozying up Sayu and other indies for a while, and she's reaping now. I do believe people change, but this kind of numberfag would only change with heavy consequences, and Yozo was never held accountable properly, only disassociation from her peers at the time, her simps stayed, and her platforms were upheld.

If a mod is on I can dm stuff partially.

Yozora threw Little_S under the bus after they started some LDR and he did everything to help her grow her channel, was a /fit/ denizen and didn't really give a shit but was the Messiah of the male vtubers at the time (was rocketing to 100ccv in less than 6 months as a literal nobody). She scammed money out of him and because she used him as a proxy to deliver merch, when he went nuclear after being cancelled he threatened to dox people uninvolved in her affairs.
Later she tried to grill other people to further boost her redebut or some shit like that, unfortunately targeted Bat and people called her out on her bullshit trying to spread out of context screenshots, then went on the limbo for a long time (never broke 300ccv for like 2 years?). Is getting back after cozying up to Shiina (was Shirara, the boyfriend yab, back in Yokomeshi days) and getting passed around because of it, so I'm seeing her in a bad perspective as well.
I did a write up a while back when I first saw her again, some stuff is a bit poorly written and/or incomplete as I used public information from the archives (I did send some stuff to Reinïgger but I guess he forgot), but after I posted it people reached out to me so I got a more cohesive timeline, maybe if she closes in more I will put proper effort into it because she has never shown remorse from being such a numberfag and egoistical cunt, AFAIK.
As to show what was the perspective at the time, our own turbofaggot @Kuri Rinji helped spread only half of the story with some prints of him going nuclear (I'm not finding the fucking tweet with the 4 images, should've saved when I saw it). Not to dismiss his bullshit though, he went bananas yet didn't post all the dirt on her, I guess he still held some integrity.[/spoiler]
I really don't like how this snake is seeping in the larger indie circles, they filtered bad people for a long time to finally find stability. If I were to deduce something, she's probably reaching out in the backstage to check her old acquaintances, but as a grifter she can't keep her mouth shut and badmouths people as a way to neg others into collaboration or find "allies".

so phase is the twitch thot of vtuber companies? I am pretty sure some of you phaseYamanbas like to shit on twitch thots and similar shit streamers for their low effort react streams, but I guess it's only okay when """based"""connect shits out low effort bottom of the barrel shit. :smugrys:
Good because who the fuck unironically watches react content and say "this is the greatest shit media has ever produced" and if there's anyone like that unironically kill yourself post haste you're just wasting oxygen

I came to watch anime women be funny and have fun playing games not be basic white women with stale ass bread personalities watch shit
I mean Holo's aren't entirely free of making react content either. Watch-alongs are essentially just long-form reacts to movies, and multiple Holo talents solely have Twitch channels for said watch-alongs.

Not the same as the indies who get constantly recommended to me reacting to anything and everything under the fucking sun. I watch any video and then bam youtube shows me some rando 2view reacting to that video.

One thing is doing a watchalong once a month as a special occasion, another is having entire streams where you do nothing but watch youtube videos and it ends up representing a large part of your content, that meta is VERY twitch, since even the big streamers like assmongoloid are always just reacting to shit as if their takes matter.

You're not wrong, but so long as they are actually watching and engaging with it I feel like there is a bit of a difference between a watch along of a movie/tv show/something with actual story and the normal react sludge. Especially if the watch along is done as group and everyone present is discussing it (or roasting it if its shit), think mystery science theater 3000.

I would love a monthly HoloEN group watch along where they show each other their favorite movies and explore new stuff they haven't seen. Like Kiara being exposed to American TV/movies she hasn't seen, or her forcing the rest to watch LOTR's extended editions.

It's possible that they are not aware of the drama, given their own struggles, or that they believe she's changed with a behind-closed-door apology. Either way, this behavior is unacceptable, and I hope she eather cleans up her act or gets reckoned like what happened to Camila.

If Yozora joins Phase as an invader, what will your reaction be?

That my good faith on Sakana is gonna be over, because I already heard some stuff he did that people found stupid but I still agree with him because it worked as a defense mechanism for the girls (thrang knows what's up). He already hired deceptive people, but hiring someone who has an open record on crabbing? That's out of the door for me.

React content generally gets copystriked on youtube (no idea how twitch gets away with it), and as we see with Phase they get hit all the time. For some reason Pippa and Airi just don't care.
Twitch "gets away with it" because they haven't had a copyright situation as ugly as YouTube did with Viacom yet. When Viacom went for YouTube, YouTube were genuinely in a dangerous position because at the time the site was almost entirely unvetted copyright-wise, to the point where the demonstrable damages from the billions of collective views on pirated music uploads etc. would have been enough to destroy the company, all while being too obvious for safe harbour provisions to protect them. It was almost exactly the same situation that killed Napster several years prior.

Giving copyright holders the means to conveniently claim revenue and/or issue takedowns through Content ID was a desperate, panicked response provided as a settlement. Twitch hasn't been put in this particular situation yet, but when they eventually are, they'll almost definitely crack down on both infringement and """infringement""" with similarly unreliable automated systems.

Why DOES phase not require perms? I'm guessing freedom laws? Could Holo feasibly also bank on that if they establish their HQ in the US? Would be a massive fuck you to a lot of corrupt games companies if so, even then I don't think the nips would go for it, their reputation with other corpos is much more valuable.

Even so, does fair use really just make these corpos say "OKAY, OKAY WE WON'T FALSELY CLAIM YOU FISHMAN/AVIEL/GUNRUN!" knowing them I would expect them to give no shits and falsely claim anyway. The only explanation I can see is they just don't care and it's hard to go after a non-nip corpo.
A lot of people put it down to fair dealing/fair use/similar laws but I think it's mostly a cultural thing. A lot of vtuber streams would be difficult to defend under fair use because featuring copyrighted characters/logos etc. on the stream and thumbnail while the vtuber talks about unrelated topics with their chat for extended periods of time can hardly be considered commentary, critique, or using the material for educational purposes - but that hardly matters because it doesn't get to that point in the first place.

The Japanese corpos play by the book because that's just how the culture works, you put your head down and do as The Man says, and if you think The Man is a fucking retard you keep your mouth shut about it; hell when the great Holo-caust happened I remember more of the backlash was targeted at Cover for taking the videos down than at Capcom for causing the problem in the first place, because Capcom is The Man in that situation and Cover should have expected it. That doesn't fly in Western countries where, regardless of legality, a publishing company going after online content creators is PR suicide. Both Japanese and international publishers almost definitely know Western streamers earn good money from playing their games and some of them probably aren't happy about it, but in recent times especially it feels like they know acting on it just isn't worth the hassle - even Nintendo, despite their reputation, stopped automating claims with Content ID in 2018 and only usually intervene if you're obviously streaming leaked copies of unreleased games or directly helping people pirate their shit.

Bad faith claims do still happen but it's usually either for music or footage of TV shows/films rather than games - and if you do get a claim on a gameplay video it's more likely to be some rando claiming content they don't own rather than the game publisher themselves.

If Yozo gets in Phase I going to assume she helped Sakana dispose of a body :menhera: She's alright, but I don't think alright is good enough for Phase anymore.
