Amiya Aranha intends to play more of Elden Ring King's Field (1995) during her Modern Monday.

I think she is also going to play Eternal Ring to commit to the bit

I've been watching the parts of the V4Mirai debuts I missed and I have to say while all of them seem really talented Dr. Nova is the clear standout. She even went as far as creating a walking simulator to showcase all her likes/dislikes. Her artist is the same as Selen/Elira's but without the large assets he gave them and a turtleneck shirt to hide her giraffe neck.

I posted about one moment in particular that stood out to me in the live thread but since you couldn't rewind their streams while live I couldn't get a screenshot for a good comparison. She drew a scene from a old game that she couldn't remember the name of but her ability to accurately draw the scene from memory was pretty crazy. The games came out in 05-06 and she's a hag so she probably played them 15+ years ago. The game is called Hapland and is an old point and click flash game series.

New HAGS podcast episode is out.

I finished watching the episode, it was excellent. But when I read the title and the theme of the episode I kept waiting and dreading for the moment they were going to talk about Niji and from which everyone is going to get their weekly bait and... they didn't say anything bad, at least that I can remember.

When talking about JP corpos they said to be prepared for a very harsh culture shock, and when talking about whether to join a company or not they said to weigh the pros and the cons, and to join a JP one if you are more interested in japanese collabs like konbinis and the like. What's more, Matara said that one of the nice things of her old job was that she was surrounded by very hardworking people that inspired her to learn more and work harder. In few words the chat around the subject was more professional and less drama-baity than I thought it would be which is nice.

Chat was spamming "get a lawyer" when they were talking about joining a JP company though, which was funny to see

Kitanya is "redebutting" in a strange manner, she retired her thousand-dollars beautiful model to become an anglerfish png

I don't get why she did this.

It's what the remaining NijiENs are playing right now.

I wonder who will get voted off the island next...

Do they get to ride the SS Pray Battan back to mainland or do they have to swim? :ameliaThink: Actually that's a stupid question, Riku makes them walk.

Another candidate for Idol ES announced a hiatus
Emberlith is a Spaniard Indie vtuber with decent following and 3+ years as a vtuber so she has quite a lot of experience

Now I don't know how big the actual Ñ vtuber scene is, but I find enjoyment in the mental image that it's small enough that any iñdie that announces a hiatus/graduation with the reveal of IdolES might be an idiot, thinking no one knows it's going to be them. It's already common enough in EN and probably JP if someone announces a departure the speculations start, but for such a smaller niche with, much as I know, practically no corporate market presence of note, c'mon ffs, just be like "WOOO CHUPAME LA POLLA PERRAS ¡HE ENTRADO! MÁS TARDE PUTAS VOY A IR A VENDER COÑO A LOS RETRASADOS". We all know.

I feel like this is a lot more pertaining to Nijisanji specifically. While, obviously, the Japanese corpo will get you better Japanese opportunities, Cover has been actively expanding outside Japan for a while now. This year might be the biggest leap. Performing at a Dreamhack event in Australia is pretty amazing. They also have footholds in pretty much every non-West Taiwan SEA country. Progress may be slow, but at least they ARE progressing in the West, unlike Nijisanji.

If you were going from indie to corpo, you would want the majority of your audience follow you to your new corpo gig and give you a viewer boost, especially with your debut.

Obviously, but you also have to understand the mental image I have is a bunch of women standing around in a parking lot shouting spanish at a crowd milling around them, a van pulls up, 5 of them get in, the van drives across the street to another parking lot full of people and those 5 women get out wearing different coloured shirts and start shouting at the other crowd. Professional integrity "demands" it be done, but it's still silly to imagine.
