The second thing that caught my attention is when he's talking about being a "risk to a company's reputation" he cuts the Vshojo icon and moves it away. It most certainly doesn't have a connection but it made me remember how close was Vshojo in getting embroiled in the whole Mikeneko scandal. Imagine if the news had hit while Nazuna was still there. They didn't just dodge a bullet, they dodged a mortar strike (my rrat is they might have known and dumped her ahead of the news)

It's really weird seeing the trailer and comparing it to VReverie's current state. It looks like they've put some effort in the trailer since it's decently animated, but they're down to two talents so you wouldn't think they'd have much money.

I hope they have some money to spend on actual advertising the debuts to give the new girls a decent start, but I suppose we'll see how things actually are with the debut numbers.

For all we know, they might not have any money left and this was a hail mary. In their eyes, they think that they can just sell the rights to the talents if it fails so they can still walk away with some money.

He's hyping it up because he's selling it, sure, but that doesn't make it bad. Just like an agency hyping up a concert they're doing - announcing it beforehand and telling as many people as possible is something they do to make money, but that doesn't mean it's not going to be a fun concert. Again that's how commerce is supposed to work - you produce something valuable that people want (in this case, a decently run agency that will offer the talents good pay and conditions), you advertise it, and people are happy to give you something valuable in return. It's mutually beneficial.

Regarding Youtube recommendation bullshit: for the longest time, after getting sick of seeing all the thumbnail face and other obnoxious shit, I changed my youtube bookmark/shortcut to go straight to the subscriptions page while never being logged in, and cookies disabled so I will only ever see an empty black page. When I search for and watch a video, I'll then only get things actually related to that subject. Usually.
I use Firefox multi-account containers, so when I want to look at vtuber things, I can open youtube in the vtuber tab and I'll then be logged in and see my vtuber subscriptions and stuff.

The models themselves don't look too bad, at least not as copy-paste as Kawaii's Hanamizuki; but yeah, this just seems really odd. If shits been going down for 6 months, then it's safe to assume this has been in the works for longer then that. There's no point in a Hail Mary if THE REST OF YOUR TEAM LEFT!
