Lots of vtubers are young and naïve; for many it's their first real job. A lot of them accept contact terms that are anywhere from exploitative to outright illegal, because they don't know any better and they get gaslit by a shitty fly-by-night corp, or worse, nijisanji. Having a decent "standard" contract be publicly known will help the talents and be better for the long term health of the industry too. It doesn't stop talents from accepting a lower cut or worse terms if a different corpo is offering them something they want, but it means they can weigh up the options with their eyes open. Of course Aviel benefits too, but that's exactly how it's supposed to work.

Are there even many other EN babiniku? The only other 2 I know off the top of my head are Jowol and Flan, both of whom just use their normal voice. Searching the term on twitch brought me 3 live streamers, 2 used their male voice, one used a really obvious voice changer and they were all 1 views. Feels like digging deeper would just get you alphabet streamers.
Aviel doesn't have that much goodwill to burn with doing a second "fired with extreme prejudice" termination, especially after Ky0resu, and the general mistrust of corpos that's prevalent right now.
Also,
1) A fired talents has other friends in the company, and those friends are seeing how the firing is played out. They can start to wonder if their friend was treated fairly, and how they're going to be treated if they're fired.
2) Fans of the terminated talent could get angry with the corpo and stop supporting other talents at the corpo if they don't like how a terminated talent was treated
Aviel made the best choice with how he terminated Pochi, but since the alternative was setting his corpo and his money on fire, let's not give too much credit.
