Yeah, I definitely think a reason why Lumi doesn't put out as many fancy music videos may be related to her being seen as controversial due to the accusations. I'm not sure how hard it is for her to commission things, but she did tell a story once where she wanted something done by a particular artist who she knew didn't like her, so she got a friend to put in the commission for her. No idea what the commission was. This sort of stuff that can definitely be demotivating may also be why she doesn't normally hold premiers for the music releases or make them events. She just plainly states she'll be releasing a cover on a day, then just upload it.
This is all speculation on my part, so I'm not 100% sure, but as I said before, whatever her reasoning is, the fact that most of her cover releases tend to be more simple seems to allow her to release them more often without having to wait on different commissions to be delivered. Hell, reminder that Uruka's recent music video that was released last month was originally recorded by her in November 2021 and that Airi still hasn't released her original that she's been talking about for a while now.
Now that's not to say Lumi's more simple music videos aren't as good. I'm biased, but I really like the simplicity of her model, her singing, a nice background, and maybe some filters and effects as a video. Gives a nice, relaxing visual to compliment her singing.
Anyway, that's enough rambling from me.
No kidding. I find myself questioning whether her or Dizzy is worse in the menhara department. I don't watch Miori, but I don't remember stories of her crying on stream like Dizzy has. But on the other hand, I don't recall Dizzy spending literal hours menhara posting on a Twitter account that is explicitly linked to her vtuber account like Miori keeps doing.
