LM lost any goodwill he might have had from me when he banned Megu and deleted (and possibly banned) the slightest negative comment.

Wait the guy banned from his stream a vtuber that was directly involved?

Someday I want the posters on this forum to make a list of the things that a vtuber can do to be labelled a whore. Or maybe a list of all the things that won't get them labelled a whore, since i'm pretty sure that's a shorter list.
Cross-quoting from the Holofes thread. I know most of this was shitposting, but I've had an essay bouncing around my head for a while.

Some thousands of pages ago there was a discussion about C.S. Lewis and how he described the four loves: storge, philia, eros, and agape. The first three loves can have proper and improper objects and expressions.

Storge is affection, especially for people, animals, places, or things you are familiar with. Philia is friendship, developed over something you have in common with someone else. Eros is the love which desires to be one with the other, to have them belong solely and fully to you and you to them. It is closely intertwined with, but ultimately distinct from physical desire. Why is this important?

Coomtubers evoke lust. GFE/BFE evokes eros. The Oldest Profession sells both, but it is very possible to sell more of one than the other. This is how Rushia could be the queen of GFE while not being half as sexual as many of her colleagues. In contrast, the "honest whore" archetype is the type that sells primarily lust.

I reserve GFE/BFE to refer to Vtubers who deliberately evoke parasocial eros in their viewers. "Deliberately" is important; there are many men who mistake any feeling they have about an anime woman as the result of an appeal to lust or to eros, who then either delude themselves that they "have a chance", or seethe about fake whores preying on men. Both are dumb. Reasonable people can still disagree about what evokes eros; but certainly wedding ring merch is much more deliberate than after-stream goodnight kisses.

As parasociality works both ways, I think some Vtubers do feel misguided eros for their viewers. That is, if their idealised mental image of their chat existed as a single person without every chatter's actual flaws, they would marry that person, much like some chat members fantasise about them.

I consider unicorns to be vastly overlapping, but also ultimately distinct from GFE-seeking. I have no essay about that yet.

Holopro will be having a regular talk show with some of their talents featuring various Seiyuus. Also, it looks like the seiyuus will be having their own VTuber avatar for the program.

Seems so. Murray's informative post in the thread mentions it
Megumi Kuragiri/Teyra Fenthera was present in the chat during the stream and raised concerns with some of the issues in the stream, but eventually would be banned from the chat by Andrew or one of his mods. In response to a superchat bringing to his attention that Megu was in chat (1:10:55), he says that people who has concerns with his content should email him so they can have an off-stream discussion. "I'm not getting in a back-and-forth with people in the chat. I know that chat kind of likes to try to derail things, or people want to derail things. I don't do that on my channel."

Wait, what. How did that happen? Did Megu call him mean names or something in a Twitter direct message?

Honestly his entire stream for this seemed weird. Not just due to the shortness of it as he was under a time crunch of needing to catch a flight. He's done plenty before when he was streaming about Disney, but he still puts in plenty of information about law and other legal issues. Also he typically differs to his guest if they are experts on a subject, but something about this seemed off.

Like just some things I noticed that seemed off he wasn't coming in with as much legal issues that he could gather from girls statements, focused almost solely on the minor issues, and the entire cutout of the pseudo manager. Even his dismissal of megu was out of character for what he typically does if someone is running into issues.

But what I know I'm just her to defend as something is even off for me.:mikothumbsl::magnicope:

Or you could just call him a dramaYamanba. Much shorter, simpler, and describes him perfectly

there are plenty of thing to simp for in this world
But simping for a drama niggẻr is :vesperfacepalm:
Your entire argument boils down to "he is not usually like this". Why do I need to care if he's on some kind of male period.
Fact is dude was petty and didn't want his views challenged and banned relevant parties from talking
Even if he's no longer on that period tomorrow or yesterday, doesn't change the fact that he banned megu today.

This is like saying "normally nijisanji livers doesn't kill themselves, I dont know what is off with riku today please forgive him"
Or "normally, froot doesn't throw her friend under the bus and she normally donate to charity, ignore this one instance please"

IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER WHAT'S OFF WITH HIM. If he wasn't comfortable with streaming, maybe don't fucking stream
The guy is a grifter who cares more about farming superchat than the situation itself. If it wasn't really evident after his 4th 7 hours stream. And what is it now? His 2000 hours in despite provided nothing of value outside of his 2nd stream? He's a react andy who doesn't even want to react to megu.

Bro literally spelled it out for you "this megu guy is making me lose super chat, pm me please so my audience can super chat me more" and you still can't read between the lines.

When your lawyer oshi is just a typical Youtube content grifter. That does suck sometimes.

Which could've been reduced to posting pdf of a document with parts that would expose the source removed.
The whole "are they contractors or employees" is entirely irrelevant, as the only one to decide it is a judge. So unless someone from Niji decides to sue the company over mistreatment due to legal status, it's a pointless discussion
