New DoL rule in effect today. all US corpo vtubers need to be treated as employees and not ICs. just need some vtuber to file a complaint.
I wonder if they're planning for Dev_is to be a more traditional idol group, including IRL events. So having them as a seperate branch with seperate expectations from the others would make a little bit of sense. The toned back designs could be because they want the characters to portrayed live by talents or actors. this is just a Rrat i choose to believe in order for Raden to have a collab with some big art gallerys/musems.
