This is one of the reasons why vtubing is weird. Like as being around the scene I get it. But for instance in other areas, if I ran into Dave Wyndorf there would be a high chance I'd ask him about the Marilyn Manson tour. Not screaming the PL from the rooftops (as company talent) is part of the keyfabe magic. Especially for agencies with strong cohesion like holo.
Never was it a problem to have even an active PL.
Just don't officially associate your character with it.
Might I remind peeps that matsuri, Choco, noel, wigger, chicken, namirin and so forth exist
