I unfortunately can't share my source on this, but I can confirm this is absolutely something Ghibli do, and not only that they'll refuse to lift it if you dispute the strike, even if the video doesn't contain any footage or audio from their films and is literally just someone talking about them (even positively!). I need to stress that these aren't regular copyright claims where they take the revenue but otherwise leave you alone; these count as one of the three strikes you can receive before you are banned.
It's inconsistent, they don't seem to do it to every video about them, but if they decide they want to fuck you over, they will go above and beyond to do so. It's absurd that a supposedly reputable publisher is able to abuse the system like this in plain sight.

Her content as of recently is mostly focused around driving cars or geeking about cars. Her older content has her playing driving games, while now she's either driving her own car (based from what I can find on her videos with mounted cam and blurred out face/sidemirror) or talking about current cars and accessories. Her hand looks woman enough, I guess.
She's more of a old-school script-based vtubers rather than streaming-focused one, so you don't have the hassle of missing her live. If you like her talking about cars or car parts in japanese, maybe she's for you.
That's the neat part, no such thing as a sane vtuber. Sane people don't pretend to be anime puppet avatars on the internet.
Hmmh, this actually might be the case, their biggest streamers are Kuzuha, Kanae, Lauren Iroas & Ars Almal atm (people like Mito & Salome streams 4 time a month)
I dont know much about Laura (male), but Ars Almal is female and her main audience is male
Kuzuha while getting alot of PR for fujoshi bait, his main content and his personality is incredibly bro-tuber, he spams Streetfighter, League of Legends, Valorant, Apex, etc. basically things that interests male viewers and rarely ever do variety.
Kanae while he does a bit more variety, he collab with female alot, KanaBoshi (Kanae x Hoshikawa) was a really big thing for a while and they only stopped because of shippers getting too toxic.

Shiba, the dog has passed 100k which is the threshold for 3D at Nijisanji. So she is in the pipeline for 3D but I imagine it's a bit of a technical challenge.
