Overall, tho, IMO she looks perfectly fine. I think you guys are heavily projecting her personality on her looks when you comment on them - which is fair enough, her personality is hard to ignore, but also kinda inaccurate.

As someone previously stated this is kinda normal KF lolcow thread behavior, the fact that you didn't come from KF I guess makes it weird for you. Not saying that not coming from KF is bad, just sorta an explanation as to why you might not like this thread that much.

It's kind of surprising to me that this thread has been able to keep going for 86 pages. Not in the sense that I'm surprised people are posting – that makes sense, they're reacting to the content Clara gives them to react to. No, what I'm surprised about is that Clara herself just. Keeps. Going. Surely she must have realised at some point in the last six months that her personal Instagram is not exactly private? And yet she has not stopped posting her... "takes", or made any attempt to keep people from seeing them. Why? Sure, this forum doesn't have a huge amount of users, but she must realise that a pretty large fraction of her company's fanbase doesn't agree with her, and she's not doing wonders for her reputation.

Maybe she thinks that if people mock her posts, she is "owning the chuds", as the thread title says. That would line up with the passive-aggressive comments she sometimes makes on main, like the Uruka trans tweets, that some people here posited were attempts to "filter her audience". But, if she really thinks like that about a large part of the Phase fanbase, why did she even join this company in the first place? The company and fanbase's reputation hasn't exactly been a secret.

I think it's important to consider the possibility that Phase was most certainly not her first choice. Working from the top, she could've applied for Holo, Niji, some of the numerous Brave corpos, all the way down to Phase where finally she got accepted because her as much as we rag on her, she IS a good entertainer and is at least bilingual compared to the other JPs (excluding Iori because she doesn't live in Japan). Alternatively it could've been a more pragmatic decision for a working visa in Japan.

It seems weird now, but back when she graduated from her Beryl persona, there were actually a bunch of Holo fans on /vt/ who were hoping she'd be in the next HoloEN generation, with the main thing they talked about being her singing skills. Some of them were actually seething when she joined Phase! I wonder if those fans would still hold the same opinion now...
