Her notice saying that they parted ways in March makes me think its contractual disagreements and the negotiations finally fell through after two months.
It does sound like he's trying to be careful with what he's saying, but more because he doesn't want to step on anyone's toes than anything else. There is stuff that is "juicy" I think, but he says he wants Matara to be in control of what is out there.
More than anything he's emphasizing that nothing should change for fans and that he hopes people continue supporting their oshis regardless of branding.

Well that's shocking and pretty out of the blue. I'm raking my mind for hints but I can't think of anything, Matara's seemed as social as ever with the girls - she has a Minecraft stream scheduled with Vshojo later today. Makes it sound like a disagreement with Vshojo staff themselves.
Edit: Although, with Kuro saying he'd known for a month, a quick glance over her youtube streams shows the only VSJ member she collabed with since that time was Amalee, once.

Both VShojo announcement and Matara's wording made it clear that this was a termination from VShojo.
If it was a contract disagreement it would have been "I have made the decision to part ways with VShojo" or "I and VShojo have made the decision to part ways"
Instead we get "VShojo has decided to part ways with me" which implies absolute 0 agency from Matara in this "deal"

March 6 - Her water broke, she thinks it's finally the day
March 8 - 2 days past the baby hasn't decided to come out, until the contraction really started and she knew for sure, prompting a sudden "I'm going on hiatus"
March 9 - The baby comes out with a lot of melanin but Zentreya is white, VShojo promptly decided to drop her but still allow her 2 months to recover.
