Pokemon Pathways: Despite it's age HUGE letdown very much feels like a game that was in dev for like half a year despite a lot of content none of it is "finished" or more accurately none of it feels finished still decently fun to play good variety of Pokémon fair enough access to teambuilding tools
To be clear this game is a massive undertaking so it makes sense that it feels like it does but i can't give points for stuff that does not exist yet.
Pokemon Myth: I honestly want to call this game trash so many unfriendly features ontop of stuff that has to be intentional trolling on the devs part. one trainer has a aqua ring rain dish toxic stall team in perpetual weather and a pokemon has a death cry that lasts like 5 whole seconds where you just have to stare at nothing while you wait for it to finish like the hp bars of old also have fun using HM slaves except not because literally no pokemon (including 2 electric types) i had could learn flash whihc leads me to believe they intentionally removed hm's from a lot of learn lists
However is has good fakemon Mega pokemon and Infusions is a good mechanic (it's basically tera typing) regional variants are nice too.
Pokemon Awakening: this is a translation from Spanish and i dunno what yall are on over there but please PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEE stop adding fucking genshin gatcha to every game.
Other then that Decent enough game with no fakemon at all (well a powered up Eevee but who cares) terrible maps and a decent enough swing at being persona lite social links with pokemon gameplay ill probably end up finishing it or at least going as far as the (broken) Translation goes.
i do think it's the easiest of the games i mean there's fairly early access to a Cloyster for Skill Link shenanigans and the class system is very abusable especially because the AI is dumb as bricks and uses it too leading to exploits.

If anyone's interested about the Marathon reboot gameplay, Doki just streamed her experience playing the Early Access Alpha Build. My opinion remains...unimpressed with what I've seen.

Anthem had a 7 "year" development cycle, but it was in such chaos that once the upper EA execs had to get involved and force Bioware to complete a game it became really an 18 month cycle. Actually a solid game for 18 months of production, frankly. I mention that because "Marathon" looks like about the same amount of actual work, where they ported over Destiny 2 and put a thin veneer of bright paint on what is functionally an extraction game mode for Destiny 2. It looks like a game that was completely rebooted 4 years ago without the staff to have vision for how to both establish within a niche and radically broaden the appeal of it.
It'll sell well enough to be Not-Concord 2.0, but it'll then die in 3 months.

While there's a lesbian companion and a gay companion, it's not really the reason why it became a holy site for troons. It's as @Superduper Samurai put it, the autism to troon pipeline and FNV is catnip for autists. Same reason why there's so many troons among the Paradox games communities. The troons will cope about loving FNV because of bullshit like "anti-capitalism and you get to kill slavers!" but the truth is just that they're autistic.
Just remake New Vegas with the gameplay of Fallout 4 (sprinting, dedicated grenade button, HUD overlay changes in 1st Person if you're wearing a helmet). Just maintain the dialogue screen like how there's mods for Fallout 4 where it shows exactly what you're going to say.
I'm just hoping working on Oblivion reminded them of what made their games good. Starfield was such a colossal miss because it upended the entire foundation the Bethesda formula was built off of. Hopefully they refocused on that foundation for TES6 (I'm still worried its going to suck).
But make sure all the perks, damage threshold, and shit stays, holy shit, fuck Fallout 4's shitty to navigate and utterly boring perk tree
I wonder why there even is an "autism to troon" pipeline, as I would've thought the opposite would happen. Rather, the opposite does happen, but it seems to be polarized to the extreme.
One extreme is, as stated, troondom. The other extreme is the one I expected would happen: total rejection of troondom and all associated. I expected that to be the case since the main component of autism is a hyper-logical brain. They would see something like Queer Theory and all sorts of questions would immediately pop in their heads, with the application of the scientific method bringing serious doubt to any claims from that pseudo-philosophical "theory."
So why, then, is there another segment of autists that are seemingly the most susceptible to all this? It is highly illogical, so it should just be rejected. Perhaps these people aren't autistic, and are being grouped into this category, or maybe there's a category of autism that I'm unaware of.

Yeah, the perk system for Fallout 4 is trash. The perk system in New Vegas/FO3 are fine but the presentation is trash, it's just a list and it needs a better UI.

It's not a matter of being smart, it's a matter of being logical. Ignorance of what actually goes into Nazism is why its propaganda is still working so well to this day. With more information of that ideology, I'd expect many autists to reject it.
The queer theory shit, however, doesn't really have such a benefit, as it's a new-ish thing colliding head on with well established norms. The younger generation being split, I guess I could see that, as the public school system pumped indoctrination to levels I never thought possible, but I'm at a loss as why those over thirty would fall victim - for as bad as we had it, "boys have penises and girls have vaginas" was still basic curriculum.

I recognize that, and yeah we were slow boiled, but I still expected the more logical mind to react with the very least befuddlement once such things got accelerated like they did around 2010.
Brings to me my personal question of, why did my mind not succumb? What I had observed in nerd spaces prior was a resistance to groupthink and gaslighting, with a high priority of being logical and correct on a given topic over social acceptance, even within a nerd community. Saw this over and over again across the 90s and 00s. Yet, with the 2010s, it was Invasion of the Body Snatchers with how people turned into totally different people.
The hyper-obsessed people placed priority on their obsessions - and especially on the purity of those obsessions - above all else. This abrupt change in these spheres still puzzles me greatly. A less satisfying answer is that these autists merely went crazy - but that's a whole lot of people resistant to going crazy going crazy at the same time. Other possible answers are ones I hope are wrong as they're too terrifying to be real.
God damnit, I just wanted to play video games.
