I still stand by what I said when I heard of Mumei though; I like holo merch and concerts and stuff, but I'd rather have the ones I like all graduate and hang out behind the scenes than have half-in/half-out. (Yes, I know that thinking that all graduated members will keep in touch is cope)

I have no personal stakes with the outcome of this announcement but I am going all in. So far there are many ENs streaming tonight before and after, no delays or cancellations yet. Kronii even interacted with the announcement by reposting it and later continued posting about unrelated things. It will be Mumei and Gura on stream together joking about how they fooled everyone and announcing whatever Gura's big project was.

They likely don't this happens every time with all talents they obviously know she is graduating before hand, but it seems the announcement date is kept between the talent in question and cover for some reason.

Yeah, we're getting weirdly mixed signals this time. I still think it's a graduation but we're one hour away from the stream and aside from Calli's reaction things have seemed business as usual.

Gura was what first got me into vtubers. I had seen the Miko GTA clip when it was trending on Twitter but I never looked more into vtuber after that. I didn't even know what a vtuber is at that point. I think I watched Gura's debut live and I was immediately captivated by her. She was my first youtube membership. There was something about her, especially her early streams, that made you have to turn in for.
I'll miss the funny blue shark.
