There's a good chance that Mumei is the one who infected Namie with Epic The Musical too.

Nimi, Namie, Nami, Mumei rebrands as 'Nama' or something similar (could have been Namu but that was used on The Broken Promise musical), then only the last two need to get N_m_ names.
And graduated SNOT can become Tapir, Orca, Troll! ToT ....wait I may need to rethink that one. Well, it'll still need one more rebrand too.

Yeah, same here. Even if I couldn't watch their streams or they didn't stream, period, I took comfort in them just being there. Things being the same as they were.

Then... it didn't.
BAM! Ame gone. BAM! Fauna gone. BAM! Mumei gone. And now Gura's got the pistol at the back of her head.
Gura, Ame, and Mumei were the reasons I stayed a fan of Hololive for so long. I did like the other talents, but mostly as a supplement to those three. It was much more rare for me to catch any of the others streaming due to time constraints and lack of interest on my part. But I appreciated having them as a tether, cuz, at least as soon as 2023, I swore things were gonna just keep up the momentum that it'd been gaining for the past 3 years. Now it's all disappearing with a wet fart and I dunno what to make of it other than that I wasted nearly 5 years of my life just watching funny anime girl play vidyo gaem on stream. Everything's just far too serious and dour now. All of them disappear made me feel like a dog abandoned by its owner, and Dooby's erratic streams aren't enough to satiate me, especially when time constraints have made it impossible to watch her anyway.

It definitely feels surreal.
Starting with A-Chan last year, we had only three months without any graduations and it just gets on my nerves.
I don't believe in such coincidences, so I assume something had seriously changed behind the scenes.

sorry I had to get that out of my system, sad to see her go, she was a fun watch, no matter what she played or streamed she always made it fun
now all we have to wait for is whether it's a graduation or an affiliation. if it's a graduation then she probably resents management for not giving her much support (like her original song not being released) and if it's an affiliation it could be a lot of different reasons (like health related) I also wonder if she will disappear or if she will continue to stream or create content.

If this is a graduation announcement I would assume that all of HoloEn already knows or at the very least Myth does but Calli has a Doom stream set for half an hour before Gura's so for right now I don't think it will be a graduation announcment but if Calli cancels or pushes back the stream than I'll believe it's one

Yep. That's the thumbnail style alright. I still remember waking up and seeing Aqua's announcement stream with a similar thumbnail before finding out what the announcement was.

If that's what this is, my condolences to her relatively sane fans here. I never got into her myself, but her existence was definitely influential to many vtubers I do enjoy. This will definitely make plenty of waves (no pun intended), even if many figured this was coming eventually.

Also to be fair didn't Ina straight up streamed during Sana Graduation announcement ? I'm pretty sure there no rule they cant overlap them or anything, they likely just avoid it since it might looks bad and chat is gonna get spammy about it once it guess announced, buts if its something hard to reschedule like a collab they might just bear with it.
