A lot of vtubers create waiting rooms that have finished thumbnails and titles with the stream's content being announced. Pippa doesn't need to put in even that much effort. Have a generic thumbnail and generic title because all it needs to be is a stand-in. Unless there's an issue where you can't change that stuff after it's released.

Pippa is a good girl she didn't do anything wrong and should not be grievanced for having a busy schedule that wears her out.
Do you genuinely believe that taking the time to tweet that there would be no stream today, after saying herself that she'd probably do one today is asking too much of her?
And that's another thing. Pippa knows this is a work trip. Why would she hold herself to doing streams when she has other things to do? On top of work, she wants to hang out with people and do tourist things. She should've just said, "Streams will be kind of random, no guarantees, but I'll try to announce them with a few hours' notice." Instead, she says it'll be a full week but at a different time.

Yes, as she clearly didn't post it so it must be too much to ask of her.
She's such a good girl she tried to stream despite all of that and all of you just denigrate her unjustly.
If I'm being optimistic: She wanted to stream and talk about what she got up to that day with chat
If I'm being pessimistic: She saw how much of a ccv nosedive she took from the Japan trip last time, and again when she took the week off for covid and wants to avoid that
Realistically: somewhere in the middle of those two, wanting to hang out and avoid fucking her analytics with yet another extended break.
That makes even less sense. If she's worried about noombers, that's an incentive to actually do it. Wouldn't she end up having worse engagement if she says she will stream, doesn't, and then ends up having that inconsistency anyway?
That's it. I'm gonna anti Pippa. I'm flying to Japan right now, and I'm gonna go compliment her shoes.
You forget this is Pippa we're talking about here. She's prone to saying one thing and then doing another.
Not really, YT doesn't know she tweeted saying she was gonna stream and then fucked off for the day. At worse it ends up where it did last time but the fact that she told people what time to expect streams means more people will show up to at least the one offcollab she'll end up doing this week with blue bear.

New 3d ? Oh yeah...... can you.... sing PIPPA THE RIPPA! It's like if you're a singer at bar and all the patrons are chanting for the waitress to get up on stage and sing, then she does and she sings twinkle twinkle little star and everyone goes crazy tipping her. It's so funny.
I think that in addition to lucking out in many many ways, her consistent schedual and NOT missing streams often, let her get away with it. 6 pm is Pippa time, you put on Pippa and for a couple years Pippa was always there. She's right that it does have advantages in that we can't get annoyed and not want to watch something days in advance, where a at 6 pm we turn on Pippa, we've pretty much decided to watch whatever. But if she continues to miss streams more often then this system starts to not work anymore because 6pm doesn't feel like Pippa time anymore. She has a big CCV cushion so it's fine, for now, but I do hope there's no more events for awhile so everyone cam just stream.

The real danger imo is that she's been burning through a lot of the good will and patience that those consistent years earned her. People already put up with dumb shit from her from time to time cause she's Pippa and she was always pretty consistent. But this year alone we've gone from the empty promises made before the move about how these sorts of trips would either be streamed during or have some sort of content come out of them other than a handful of stories, to 3 trips and breaks within the last few months and almost nothing to show for them save those same stories. If you looked at this year from an outsiders perspective without the investment people have in her, its not a good look and even her more patent fans are seeming to get a bit annoyed with the whole no show song and dance.

I think you guys are overthinking this - Pippa is kinda dumb sometimes, and I've got used to it. It's annoying that she doesn't give a heads up that she's missing streams and I wish she'd be better about it, but she's a woman, and women are biologically programmed to be terrible at man responsibilities like scheduling.
Overall the constant disruptions for con-related stuff is a bit off-putting as someone who doesn't care for going to conventions in general, but I'm willing to accept that vtubing is more than just livestreams now, and I'm not the intended demographic for this particular part of it.
