There are definitely many ideas that can be explored, but it will be work intensive and time consuming to get it to that stage. I wouldn't mind it if there was a good playerbase but my biggest worry is putting a bunch of my hours into even a simple spawn and then having nobody care.

I guess it will grow as the site grows (and it is growing) but on a server like this we would be able to remove the whitelist since everything important will be protected by default.

Yeah that is true. Also, I think I could technically hide real MC names for people who are hesitant about using their normal MC account so people wouldn't be able to reverse-lookup their accounts. Though, they would still need to trust me with their real MC username. Still may entice some people to join.

Edit: I could also make the server offline and require alternate authentication. This would let people use cracked versions of MC. Though, I'd have to look into the security behind that.
