TVA Awards 2024
Ladies and gentlemen! Homelanders and 2 views! The time has come for the 3rd annual TVA Awards! Last year I predicted that our culture would gradually change as we are slowly overrun by newcomers wondering why we talk so much about a no name company like Phase Connect while ignoring the much larger Nijisanji. This year has been almost completely dedicated to proving that prediction wrong, with the numerous controversies that destroyed Nijisanji’s reputation and Phase Connect remaining as the last founding western corpo simply by not imploding like its competitors. Another unexpected change that I find distinguishes this year from the last is the flow of talent. While last year many talents seemed to be moving up by reincarnating into larger companies, this year instead, many corpo talents have either returned to their indie accounts or joined the purple YouTube retirement home, VShojo. 2024 has undoubtedly been a year of very low lows but through these tragedies and controversies many talents have ended up in much better positions than they were last year and have been able to do things that they previously wouldn’t have. So, let’s celebrate this past year’s events together whether they were good, bad or absolutely mad!
