You don't need places like /vt/ or the like to support you to get to 1k CCV. However, I will say of the very dedicated/obsessed vtuber fans, that's where you are going to find a good chunk. The people who watch every stream, the people who donate, the people who buy the merch, the people who make clips, the people who do all the things that push a vtuber to success aren't usually casual clip watchers.

But, I need to repeat this, the community is not a hivemind, it's so big you can immerse yourself in it and know nothing about certain companies. You can find a group that you will fit with almost no matter your perspective. What you can't do is decide you want to cleanse the entire broader fandom to impose your morals without expecting to get shit thrown back at you.

We actually know pretty exactly what /vt/ can do for you if you vibe. Bea managed 2view status. Usui Clear initially benefitted heavily from /vt/ shilling her rocket streams and started with a dominantly EN audience. 2view until she blew up on Japanese twitter and her audience became majority JP. Onolumi got her own shill threads (they died, then /vrt/ was created). 2view. Idol HE got /vt/'s attention because HE, got heavily shilled with /JIDF/ being created, 2views. Kiki Pyon Pyon, looking at her VOD views, firmly 2view.

/vt/ can uplift someone who is just starting out. If you have a niche that appeals to it (parts of it, given how balkanized the board is), yeah, you can get a boost that makes you visible.

But anything higher than 2view, you'll need something more. /vt/'s attention on its own hard caps at 2view.
