It seems extraordinarily suspect to me that for how many legal protections there are to guard minors from being exploited and abused by adults due to a general consensus that they're not old/developed enough to be able to understand/consent to such things, but it's perfectly valid to "guide them" on choosing a sexual identity well before they're reasonably, legally able to execute on that identity, or even in an age range old enough to reasonably be considered to understand themselves.
Kinda feel bad for this dude, it's like the transgender equivalent of those circumcised guys who are fully aware of "what they're missing" and try to fight the entire culture to change it.
