The only reason to not shower or bathe at the very minimum once a day, preferably twice is if you are in the middle of the wild with no source of water nearby and have to carry any water you'd need to wash. Under that circumstance going for the "three point wash" (unsure about if it has a proper name in English) until you can clean properly is acceptable. If you're afraid of getting dry skin from washing often, then don't use soap every time, just rinse yourself thoroughly with water. Hot water makes you sweat, so as soon as you've dried yourself off afterwards you'll be coated in a fresh new film of sweat, body temp or colder showers are preferable for preventing that.

Basic hygiene isn't difficult, if you have access to plumbing make use of that fact.

I will add that I am fully convinced that you don't need to shower everyday in most western climates or also do sports every day (you should shower after every sport, really). But personally, I am fine showering every 2-3 days (I strive to do every 2 days but going 3 days doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference). I sit on my ass all day in a colder climate, so really don't sweat much during a normal day. Body odor is mostly genetic anyways and I seem to be lucky because even when sweaty, I won't start smelling (but I still feel sticky and icky). And hygiene goes beyond how much you shower every day, fresh clothes every day go a long way. That might seem obvious, but I have seen a few people who walk around in the same shirt for more than a week.
Also showering every day is bad for your own skin oils and whatnot so unless you live in like Thailand.

The winter excuse is already bad, I live in a region that go between -10~35C, pigs open their jackets and the plagued winds come forward, but that "showering everyday is bad for your health" bullshit, are you fucking retarded? You're carrying all that sweat (yes, skin perspire even without liquid sweat, shocking) and dead skin to your clothes and your bedsheets, if you're ok with living in a pigsty, fine, but don't expect anyone approaching you without a 10ft pole.
